Global warming or not, inventors should be allowed to sell their products without monopolists like G&S saying 'no can do' cos it will upset the guys down at the Lodge.

My idea of capitalism is that we're all allowed to have a go. Unfortunately some products - like fuel - are the Holy Grail of the temple. We can look but we cannot touch.

it's actually about maintaining the tight monopoly on energy from fossil fuels - and making sure that the perceived 'scarcity' is continually exploited (for warfare, for profit... it's geopolitically strategic if you want to control the world). look at the foremost supporters (and creators) of the AGW movement (as well as it's controlled opposition): big oil, big coal. Over and above the financial incentive, there is another agenda at work. There has been a push forward for the emergence of a global government for many years now.

this AGW thing is actually an important lynchpin of the fossil fuel monopoly the elite have. The AGW hoax is actually meant to:

1) unite people against a new perceived 'threat' (ourselves!)

2) provide 'absolution' via a tax

3) prevent 3rd world from developing

4) so the monopoly on fossil fuels can remain status quo ('oh look! it's working! CO2 levels are down! fossil fuels are okay, even though they are so scarce and we have to charge you sooo much for them!!')

Al Gore and his investors have created a crisis called human caused global warming. They have created a product, literally out of thin air, called the carbon credit. This is essentially a license to pollute. And as experience in Europe has already shown, polluters will simply by the license, and pass the cost on to consumers. The pollution will continue, has continued; the only real change is that goods and services cost more than they did before.
