Not only does Tony rock at singing, but it's almost like he tries to go so extreme to annoy or embarrass Clive some how! That was still Funny with Colin singing, that's a rarity and Ryan is always awesome!! ^_^
I remember reading somewhere that he actually preferred doing the improvisation and would've loved to be on the main stage. Shame he's so pianistically talented!
yes richard vranch is very funny. i went to see this paul merton thing (it was basically a live whose line) and he was in it and he by far one of the best
has anyone seen the rap one with tony and tony says,
'i saw my friend the other day and he said hi! hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi! he was really repeatative, so i shot him.' i love that one im gonna watch it now
Aww, Ryan looks so sweet in his song! Doesnt quite match what he's singing about though! Luv him from 2:35 to 2:37. By the way, in the Tony Slattery agument, I think he is sweet, weird, but also a good person and I would like to meet him very much.
Tony is the best! And so is Colin - my 2 all-time WLIIA favourites. Love the original Whose Line, so much better than the US version (censors ruined the US show)
I've just read in some interview that Ryan thinks that the UK WLIIA is "kinda bad". Right enough, he never looks as amused in the UK games as he does in the US ones.. Shame... I love both series equally... Mostly cos of Ryan (*nugde nudge wink wink*)
I have nothing against the US version but I much prefer Clive Anderson and I think English humour is funnier. Plus I LOVE Tony and he's only on the UK version.
It would be hard for me to say which humour is funnier - they are both funny. (I have to say I am neither British, nor American, but I live in the UK). I'd say British humour is cleverer in some ways, it has this intellectual somewhat absurdist twist to it, which American humour lacks. NOt to forget, there's bad humour to the both sides of the Atlantic, but enough hilarious stuff too. fans think he sucks - they just don't get him.
think to compair the uk and us whose line is a amzingly stupid, yes there the same show, but there so different. different time, country. american and british humour is so different, and to be honest the world wood b kinda dull if we all liked the same thing. who is to say if 1 is better then the other, its your opinion that counts, and what u think is funny not what country it was made in, or from what country the comedian is from.
This is a classic example of UK/US co-operation. The original UK version was sloooow and somewhat stale. But then came Mike, Ryan, Greg and Colin and it became soo amazing. With Clive hosting, (together with Tony) this period became the quintessential show.
You know, McShane's f-bomb actually got past sensors. They don't show it on Comedy Central anymore I think, but when they aired the program, it was in there.
You know, right before this game, Tony did a bit rubbish in Party Quirks and Clive said jokingly (about Tony) "in fact I don't think we'll have him on the show ever again." And sure enough he hasn't!
This is my favourite Bartender in the History of Whose Line - US and UK included. I still laugh my head off at this even though I've lost count how many times I've actually watched this. "There's naked men on a Trapeze - Nicholas Parsons covered with Cheddar Cheese" - LMAO!! Can't get better than that LOL!
Collin is Canadian eh!

They are all pretty good singers, you know, Colin wasn't that bad, he wasn't trying to actually sing, but the rest are all good singers.
