Sure a supra can keep up with a charger. On nitro it can, it couldn't hold that speed as long as a charger before the engin blows but it kan definetly keep up for a quarter mile

@cje1992 yes it can , i hate to say it but there is nothing we can do about it , it only neet around of 400 HP to 500 HP to make it in 9 flat , a few years back on the local drag strip one Toyota Starlet (STREET LEGAL) run a 9.96 E.T. with 350 HP . it is simple becuase of the body weight the dodge thou needed a 900 HP for 9 Sec. flat , you do the math ....

@KnivingCinemas the charger is stripped for the track,which means lighter EVERYTHING. that supra is just built. even running its single or dual turbos to make most of its horsepower(dis is fact), the hemi would get off the line quicker because a supercharger is instant power via it being belt driven. and no the charger wouldnt spin its tires like a mofo, again, it is made for the track.

As cool as the 1970 charger is, it was never all that good of a car. Yes they were fast but all around not so good. Realistically, I don't see how a charger could beat a supra without putting an engine that doesn't belong in it, in the charger and maxing it out.
