This service is spiritually enchanting beyond any words that I can say. There are two services on Dec. 24th, one is held mid-afternoon, the other is at dusk. Please call the Wytheville Enterprise (newspaper) for exact times. The barn is located south of the Crossroads, and you have to make a left turn (east) off the main road into town and go about 2 miles to the barn. Anybody in the area can give you directions and it's easy to find. Hope to see you there! Suze

"If you build it, they will come...." :) Our service has been held every year since 1982 and the barn is always full regardless of the weather. It's just so cool! How fun! We have a Singing Christmas Tree program at our church every year, and they have horse, sheep, and a camel come inside the church... of course, they cover the carpets with plastic first. :-) Not quite the same as a real barn!

Wish you could have been there...you would have loved it! Magical, enchanting, humbling...the smell of the straw and the stirring of the animals were wonderful. The service is very warm and relaxed with beautiful music and such a sense of peace that it's unreal. I was transported and transfixed and am still partially under the spell. :) I always love to hear from you and... a letter is a comin' ! :)
