Why do we call them Coping Strategies?.....because often they are not strategies....strategies are generally more permanent, or at least they should be! Strategies are based on change, adjusting to our environment and adapting.
Thank you, Elizabeth. That was interesting--I'd never before thought about a baby feeling the father's anger but it makes complete sense. So do the coping strategies.
I see now what you mean as far as, the emotions ppl show are not "real" and they are just covering up something else like fear or anger. I have watched both videos now and I would really like to know how to handle this situation in relationships, whatever it happens to be according to the matrix you demonstrated. I have left my email on your website in order to receive the video explaining further. Thank you!
@Elzeabar I find that we control ourselves from the subconscious, It knows our limits and always pushes us near them so we get the valuable experience and knowledge but without the full sacrifice that would otherwise stop us or kill us. We always hide from ourselves and we deny our true nature, but denying it over and over you'll start to build it up and when it surfaces we will see our flaw clearly otherwise we'll not be convinced enough, and our brain knows all of that.
1. Good work writing your info on the flip board -- but when you flipped the pages it went away. Suggesion: Find a way to leave it there throughout the whole video (or use just one page of the flip chart per video)
2. Tried to follow you on Twitter -- says your account has been suspended?
Very interesting. I would call this the "Onion" syndrome and I am aware of it occurring in my life and that of others. I will continue to part 2. Jeff

Hi,
Very informative video. Never thought about these issues in the way you described but it makes sense.
Keep up the good work!

p.s. I found the 2nd video first so now it makes more sense after watching the first video :-)
