i actually thought that the piano part was a bit lame if u compare it to the modified liszt version of la campanella search for evgeny kissin la campanella i think its even better than the violin version

He is a wondeful violinist. This performance is superb! It is one of my favourites from the entire competition. He was great in the final, but perhaps made a few too many little errors in his Tchaikovsky. Still he has an amazing future.

maybe he should try to look more comfortable with such brilliant technique and big hands... he kinda made less mistakes in his ysaye than anyone else but really looks a little too uneasy when playing... i think he at least deserves a price somehow, although may not be the 1st one (he is also too nervous in Tchaikovsky)
