  • why do you need a 5ft sand spike??? dont make sense to me

  • pretty cool stuff....

  • The sand pump is very clever. I was wondering if you could get a clamp on beer...er, drink holder to mount on the side of the rod holder. :^)

    Thanks for the instruction.

  • Thankx Manuel, Just wanted to add having extra rod holder makes a great stabbing weapon for those people who took out the other rod holders.

  • whats the begginin song

  • great vid manuel. ive heard of people using vacuum to sink rod holders. neat pump. very informative. thanx!!

  • Excellent info.

Looking forward to your next vid.

  • I hope somebody knows what the song was Id like to the rest of it.

  • Hi Manny Z..!!!

Your wonderful enthusiasm fro the sport of surfcasting has given birth to many contributions with your ingenuity. Its great to see you on You tubeç Hoep tos hare a tide with you soon some day old friend.

    Awesome John!

  • Malchurn, I like the tripods too but they have to be ON the beach, my rod holders can e placed in the surf and they don't get washed away and there is no chance of someone running over them with a truck.

  • In Britain we use aluminium folding fishing tripods.

much better than tubes, quicker to setup and move,

plus they hold multiple rods at the same time.

    google image search "fishing tripods"

  • I tried the british tripods ( bought them from veals) and wasnt blow away by their performance. Yes in theory they look cool but strong tides pull them down.. I prefer the tubes but do did enjoy the bait tray and trace hangers of the tripods.

  • @awesomejohnnet we have way stronger tides in the uk than you guys, unless you're fishing a river, tripods work in gale force winds Ian Golds are the best, we fish with 5-8 oz weights over here with wire grippers, maybe the force of our tides on the lead/line hold the tripods down who knows.
