looks easy killing here, but, I started this quest when I was level 24, (completed many others on before entering this)... and, when I entered Kvatch, it was real hell because you don't have to kill scamps, there are Storm Atronachs, Daedroths, Xivilai, some Spider Daedra.... It was realy hard to kill all of them (loaded the game many times in that quest) those guards, and later the 3 Imperial Legion soldiers that follow you died in matter of seconds, it was inpossible to keep them alive....

It takes me forever to kill a goblin in those gates using a claymore! It takes me at the the least 15 swings to kill them and your mowing em down like nothing! Did I miss something? do not stand in front of player characters

And don't do it at Level 15 or higher unless you have good Heavy Armor. Do the rest of Breaking the Siege at Low Level so you take on Scamps and Deatra and not big monsters.

For the fire or guardian thing?

The fire resistance is only useful for the main quest when you fight a crap load of scamps, otherwise you don't run into it as often, so you don't need it as much..

As for the guardian, being able to cast once a day for a dude that isn't THAT strong isn't worth it..
