  • so did you have to make a skull out of foam first i,m new to foam casting

  • wow ik ben onder de indruk :D vet gedaan!

  • Ghost Rider would be proud

  • can you show how to make the mold next?

  • Wow. Nice work, I'm super impressed. :D

  • How do you make the sand casting? I wanna get into this stuff :)

  • that's no place for chicken

  • pretty good! (my mom made a better one but that took her several months and shes a sculptor well she made 5 at the time)

  • it's okay the boss did go nuts and jumped off the roof of the house later that night

  • pointless video

  • what you use for mold ?

    bravissimo !!! good work ...

  • Whats the name of the song

  • how did you named your chickens???

  • dus je komt uit nederland ik ben dit thuis ook aan het doen maar dan niet met een doodshoofd maar een middelvinger standbeeltje (incase you can't speak dutch i said i did this but not with a scull but with a ceramic middelfinger)

  • mumbo jumbo: ikem bokam

  • Did you do this with a oil sand cast or did you use something else?

  • i think skulls and bones wold like it...

  • shrunk*

  • cool skull!

  • hello

    do ,you sell this skulls

  • hello

    do you sell this skulls

    thanks greetings vincent

  • Nice work!

  • Your skull explains religion.

  • i kind of like this video

  • looks cool!!

  • looks cool!

  • ik,snap,het,niet,nou,ja,het,zal,fout,vind,jy???kids,zyn,de,toekomst,myn,idee,nooit,fout

  • That skull turned out really well. Even using sand casting and Foam burnout. I would have thought the foam would have left some residual pockets of goo that would mar the finished project. Maybe its on the bottom or back where you were able to buff it out. Regardless Really nice finished skull.

  • u should put the skull ontop of the chicken..

    chicken would think its cool

  • 41 dislikes? thats bull. they probably don't understand that this was hard work.

  • is fake its just painted silver

its impossible to make a shull that well designed using back yaard materials

  • @MirroredHorizon no all you need is a piece of foam the size of the skull and then shape it or buy one pre-cut

then by sand casting it you can make incredably accurate castings

  • DUDE!!!! Ebay it man! I bet you could rake in some dow making them aliminum skulls man! Cool vid.

  • go to cemetery and go take a real skull

  • how much does a skul like this value ( how much money can you get for it in your country??? pls respond.

  • how did you make the indentations of the eyesockets and cheeks etc?

I mean, if you fill it up with the sand, you can't get the original skull out without ruining the mould, can you?

  • you have fucking talent

  • i think you need a rooster for some nice eggs :P

  • Wait I just wanna be sure I understand this one right; the original skull was a foam decoration skull, right? Meaning, you simply put it under some sand and applied the lost foam technique?

It make sense, since normally one would have to make the original foam stuff, but now it's already made. Looks cool, summer project for me.

  • this video was a tease 1 star

  • needs more info about actually making the skull.

  • No foam casting.

    No halloween.

    No pooring molds.

Bad attempt at drawing in viewers.

    1 star.

  • did you make your crucable? if so how or at least what materials?

  • how long is that aluminum is dissolved in liquid? few hours?

  • Comment removed

  • Um this video sucked. Thought it would show how to pour the mold. All I see is a video of random items. whats the deal?

  • Does the foam burn away cleanly leaving a good clean casting? Or are there pieces of foam residue left that would need to be patched or repaired with something such as liquid steel. I would like to try something such as this but it has been over 50 years since my last playing with metal casting and I did not use foam way back then. Thanks

  • Very clean casting, I am hoping to get into lost foam casting myself soon! Thanks for the video!

  • PLAES MAKE A ALUMINIUM CHICKEN

  • @SagradaTime (LMFAO) :0)

  • The reason for the price differential is that the price per ton for PURE CLEAN ALUMINUM INGOT and the price for dirty scrap aluminum ALLOY with gas impurities and zinc, tin, etc..etc.. is obviously going to be much different. Thanks for the vid though, pretty neat!

  • WILL you sell me one?

  • CHIKEN HELLO WORLD WAS FREAKING EPIC

  • OH MY GOD!!! THE CHAIR IS NOT NORMAL SIZE!!!

Actually, the skull is pretty cool.

  • show us how u did it..looks cool

  • not too shaby...

  • excellant, ima skull lover and wanting to try a little foundry work and i was actually thinking of trying this, obviouly it worked well for you, so im gonna have to try this

  • i started casting these skulls about 4 years ago, i am a miantenance worker in an iron fround gray/ductile. Built my furnace 5 year ago, the skulls i found were a we bit smaller than yours, but people can really be amazed with something thats so simple to do. BTW u posted this video on my bday. kinda spooky

  • do know how to make your own cast

like your own design or object

  • Alright.. can't stand it.. what song is that?

  • under => annotations => audio swap

    # Fuck It(2:56)

    Artist: Seether

    Length: 2:56

  • searching for realistic foam skull (bike mirror size)

    plus/minus 8 Centimer size

to make an aluminium skull miror for my bike

    shout to me

  • @LuberthDijkman If you are good at mold manufacturing, you can produce a casting mold with a plastic one, OR produce a mold and add foam to MAKE a foam one. If that is the case, look through Ebay for an anatomy skull, preferably smaller than normal size ("Bucky" skulls come in several sizes) and then try that. Alternatively, search Foam Skull on there and you'd be surprised just what comes up.

  • There. I watched it! Really turned out nice! Where's the crown? LOL

Like the music, too.. I gotta do one of those..

  • In your video it looks like you made the mold/cast sand yourself

could / would you maybe desribe in more detail how to make it

is it little water with cement and fine sand?

i treid a simple gips test mold but the water did bubble steam the aluminium

the special red sticky sand is nice but expensive

i saw you mix i think water with portland cement powder

  • cool! A response! Well, I'm on dial-up so will have to see the vids tonight while I'm at work..
