At my daughter’s Performing Arts College a male teacher was recently dismissed for inappropriate conduct- dating several female students & posting nude pictures on Facebook.

Last week I went to see and end-of-term show & this idiot not only had the gall to attend but actually clambered on stage during a dance piece with a large dildo strapped to his forehead & a T-shirt saying “I AM SEX WHORE!!!” This was filmed, & is apparently all part of a taxpayer-funded ‘internet performance project’!

There is some MISINFORMATION on this subject. A public high school will NOT charge any money -for anything. However, a good school WILL require you to audition! How else can they know if the applicant has any talent?! Whatever talent you want to present, Prepare at least three (3) selections.

And, unlike some of these posts, here, learn to spell and to speak well. That is a requirement for any high school!

For the major schools, students are required to audition. The audition will require two prepared works, an improvisation and a personal interview. It is best to get all the information from your school guidance counselor and to prepare early.

Yes I do feel like I have an advantage, a big one. I'm majoring in theater in my school and that means when I'm done i will have 5 professional credits, which means as soon as i get out of high school jobs will be begging me to work for them, because i have more experience with the theater world. My brother graduated from my school last year and he got $40,000 and a job to run the lights at a theater.
