The story is:

When the PLA man was trapped, some soldiers from North Korea happened to pass by. Very unluckily, this Chinese guy was dressed in ROK uniform. The stupid North Koreans thought the Chinese was from ROK, the poor Chinese tried to explain but he couldn't speak Korean. When the North Koreans were about to kill him with bayonet. He jumped aside. The mine blew up and disabled the Koreans

Fortunately for these PLA guys, it was common practise for PLA soldiers to use captured US and UN equipment.. it happened on a number of occasions that US soldiers mistook PLA dressed in this matter for ROK soldiers
