Well I am doing some alternate picking. But yeah, most of it i pick downstrokes. Don't listen to people. It's really annoying. They think a cover is suppose to be the EXACT way the song is played. They don't know what "cover" means. So just keep doing what you're doing man. But you have to alternate pick too in some parts. :P

yea... it's ok. but I love the insane setting on it. That amp made be small, but it's a little amp of destruction. I'm planning on getting the Line 6 spider III 150 watt 2x12 stereo combo amp. I played it at guitar center and it just kills! The clean tones on that are awesome. you got like, a million sounds and effects. The thing that sucks is that it costs about $450.00 I'm savin up for a new guitar too though so it will be awhile before I get it.

Well with my amp, you don't need a disortion pedal. It already has a distortion channel built in. So you're good if you have this amp or you're thinking about buying it. If you do have a $100 or more, think about buying a better amp than the one I have. This amp is good, but only good for practice. If you plan on playing shows, don't use this.
