The reason that Billy Corgan doesn't play the songs from Gish is because no one besides a few people want to hear it. They played There It Goes, Siva, and Bury Me at a The 20th Adversary Tour and a lot of people left saying "I hate this new garbage The Smashing Pumpkins are making. It's not true to what The Smashing Pumpkins were from the start."

@leahgoins76 I was saying the reason Smashing Pumpkins don't do songs from Gish is because most fans don't like this album. They made plenty of great music after Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Adore is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard, Machina/ The Machines Of God was great, Machina2/Friend And Enemies of modern music was great, Zeitgeist had a few bad songs on it, American Gothic was beautiful, Songs for A Sailor was garbage, The Solstice Bare was great.

@drwonstaria-true, but it's all up to the person. corporations will force bands to sell shit and people who don't live out of the norm will feed off of it and buy it. i'll give you an example. look at the hip hop music scene: boys to men, vanilla ice, en vogue, bell biv devoe. all in all what i'm trying to say is some people will buy into crappy music while others don't. it doesn't matter what the corporation pumps out. it matters on the person.

@faridjabba-didn't you know that when a band sells their soul to the corporate giant they forget about what made them good in the first place. let me give you an example: red hot chili peppers(they don't play their first 2 or 3 albums)

Saw the Pumpkins live for the 1st time at a local club in South Beach called Washington Square in 1990 something. Club was about 800 sq ft. Packed!! Bartenders sprayed cool water on us as we moshed (everyone in the club was moshing). I had my hands all over this cute blonde from out of town (I think) and I stold Darcys Heineken bottle from stage. Still remember the look Darcy gave me as I walked away with her drink. Sorry! LOL
