  • do they keep you in a zoo enclosure? with these two motorcycles?

  • that bitch pad, is such a bitch pad, its hilarious !

  • The noise at the beggining sounded like my royal enfield at tickover :-D great bike matey!

  • how can i find that bikeeee

  • Out of time man

  • Sell it as fast as you can! You have absolutely no talent to kick-start a bike!

  • thats a way of doing exercise... haha. but i must say ! BEAUTIFULL BIKE BrO. love it.

  • just bump it

  • This. Ass. Is. Goin. To. Break. His. Frickin. Leg

  • its a beatuty dude!!!

  • I remember my ol man had a 49 panhead and he use to swear at that bike some days ...it was comedy

  • =O i want it :( sweet bike

  • Sudato eh?

  • Very cool bike.

What jacket are you wearing, by the way?

  • Only runs on one cylinder bro, sweet bike!

  • perchè hai fatto tutto il giro della moto per accenderla??

  • prime it first. Then get her on compression stroke, Then turn the ignition on!

  • I want a kick start =O

  • Why not used the choke for more fuel earlier? And checked for sufficient gas before you tried to start it? Other than that, it's a sweet ride, no doubt ...

  • 0.24 Lucky it didn't kick back any earlier! Could've broke your ankle or something!

  • im thinking there are a few timeing issues that need to be delt with....maybe to far advanced...

  • That bike is a True Classic

  • Put it in H

  • this thing sounds terrible. no bike should be that hard to start. runs on one cylinder, and occasionally fires on the second. stop running it and fix it before you ruin it...

  • Thumbs UP, thats right !! ;-))

  • how nice, that he chekked fuel after som tries ;-))

  • the reason he probably had a hard time is because he didnt know how to start it , the timing has to be knocked back to retard it before starting, it will probably fire first kick, hold throttle on a bit for 30 seconds , turn dist ahead halfway, and throttle response is crisp, and will idle with no popping, after driving for 5 minutes , he can push the distributor, or mag,to full advance.there is probably nothing wrong with this bike if any of you think that.the timing was wrong at idle, givaway

  • probboly not breathin right with the 2 into one, and your right it did sound like it was firing on one cylinder. Drag pipes might help you too.

  • kick it like a dirt bike man....dont know if you got kicked by it yet but best to hold it at the bottom for a minute before letting it back up..sweet bike man.

  • tip: straddle that bad boy and kick with ur right foot with both ur hands on the bike for better stability. sick ride.

  • I wonna steal tha bike. It's a kickass Knucklehead bro.

  • ...it's only firing on one cylinder after it started. Feel the pipes to see which isn't firing...pull the plug wire on that cylinder...and let the spark jump to the plug. That should clean the plug off...and after the cylinder gets a little heat in it... you're good to go.

  • One spark plug was fouled...pull the wire off and let the spark jump to the plug...the cylinder will start firing. Reattach the wire after the cylinder has some heat in it. My old knuck does it too.

  • Ha ha ha *vondt i magen*

  • A very cool Bike ! Wow!

  • awesome bike Mr. mat but two things 1. it sounds like a state fair go-cart 2. theres a reason why old school bikers who drove knuckleheads wore boots lol. cool bike tho def has potential so keep on wrenching.

  • Venga Macho!!! Great Bike!!!

  • wow man that thing needs some help. i may be wrong but it didn't look like it was running even close to right.

  • no bad.. very nice...*****

  • wonderful piece of shit! love it

  • Learn to kick.

  • Ok so how long has this vid been up ??. Has this thing been set right yet or what

  • dude how have you still got your legs to kickstart it with, that kickback in gnarly!

  • just beautiful

  • Who said you should ride a bicycle to get exercise

  • Como para unas prisas xD

  • fuckin gnarly dude!

  • where do i get one of those?

  • Pretty cool!

Although not so good if you stall it in traffic....

  • ...or you could just push a button!

  • @oldtintoys are you kiding me not on an old bike like that

  • like a beautiful woman in very high heels, it's sexy to suffer a bit for fashion.

  • lu voe un cirino??

  • Sounds like a small air leak. Hence the coughing and hard starting

  • Everytime is starts it's Miller time.

  • sounds like shit, why don't you take a little time and time it right, running on one cylinder isn't good for the bottom end... Will surely over heat the front cylinder....

  • Maybe it woulda started up on the 3rd or 8th try if your pants were tighter...........!!!! LMMAO. Love the bike though its pretty sick

  • Advanced

  • i like the nice FAT tires

  • love the bike. Not that familiar with the knuckleheads, but be careful at the end of your kick. make sure you kick all the way through. A backfire with your knee extended could break your leg. I have a panhead that's a kick start as well. my panhead's kick releases at the end of the stroke. A friend of mine still limps from his harley destroying his knee.

  • Good thing he was not in a hurry and the cops were after him.

  • Comment removed

  • @matrox Well it is a '40 Knucklehead > 70 years tend to make things at least a little cold blooded

  • @emr784 Well,I got a BMW '56,one-maybe two kicks and starts just fine. Not coldblooded huh?

  • @emriaco didn't mean it badly just old things aren't fi new shit thats all im all for old equipment... whatever it is.....dozerz hoes bikes etc...

  • @emr784 Not if it tuned properly. 1 or 2 kicks if set right.

  • @matrox yeah def not a bike to start trouble in if its turned off lol

  • @matrox

    LOL!

I was thinking exactly same before I read the comments. :D

  • hey mate i have a old bike like this . i am shore you know this already but if you dont you can make life easy for your self you. see how the puff cam out of your carb, at that point turn off the key or switch ,kick it three or so times with the power off and then boot it again with the power on . the pot was full off stale fuel the key off kick l clears its throat . you only get a couple of kicks and you will have to repeat this as it will foul again . chears

  • Che flaco arrancadora la tenes he!,

  • damn !!... are you do it every day?? 2 thumbs up bro... thats the realy bike...

  • Love the Bike Bro!

  • so do i!

    Thanks

  • Hey hey a few bruised calves there I bet haha, not exactly a get away bike but what a beaut, nice one 5's

  • i absolutely love your bike. it's so beautiful. congratulation.

  • thanks a lot!

  • Now Thats a Motorcycle!

  • If its cold u need 2 prime it 1st

  • careful man! you keep kicking it halfway down like that and you'll wreck your transmission seal. nice bike though

  • Nice bike!

    Respect!

    S.Y.L.O.

  • did i turn the key on? did i put gas in it? oh! maybe i should put the choke on! this guy is 100% never going to wrench his own bike. will even pay someone to change oil

  • fucking cool

  • kickin' is a young man's game...

kickin' in the world of electric start is dedication to a lost art.

best advise i can give? keep the plugs fresh. them ol' knucks and pans like new plugs of the proper heat range.

  • oh yeah, and hold the front brake lever to keep the bike from crawlin' backwards. finding the sweet spot on the throttle and keepin' your hand on the brake at the same time is part of the art.

  • i love your bike but whats up with the exhaust?

  • oh ya? i just press a button but thats cool

  • Lazy.

  • or convenient cocksucker

  • Allright. The reason I said lazy is because typically it takes maybe two or three kicks if it's well maintained. So unless your bike sits for a while, (his) or it sucks (Yours) it takes at the most ten seconds more. So fuck off.

  • oh ya? 10 seconds at the most? did you not watch the video? and if its so damn cool then why is everything electric start

  • His must have been sitting for a while like I said.

  • because most people are not cool

  • @puppetmaster983 His bike was made 70 years ago. I don't think it's lazyness. Does he look 70 years old to you? This bike has seen some shit, and rightfully so it'll take its time to start.

  • no its not cool. get a kick start, a magneto and loose your battery, that is cool

  • It looks like a dream

  • sounds like shit

  • that kick back is scary

  • nice bike!!!!!

  • FUKIN PATHETIC......Bike needs "rescued"

  • please inform a bike novice . what defines a knucklehead ? apart from being the coolest looking bike on the planet!

  • The top of the cylinder heads look like someones knuckles when making a fist, and they are the coolest bikes on the planet.

  • It's cool because you have a bike like that, you're always in good shape from jumping your fucking ass up and down for 20 minutes a day.

  • Yeah, it looks silly, doesn't it.

  • Is somebody kicking a bottle around near you in this vid?

  • that bike runns on one cylinder!!!!!!

  • looks the same to me

  • Yeah cool knuck but u need to get the starting ant timing right! Othervise u r gonna rip the fuckin' kicker outta box!

U might as well want it to run on both cilinders mate!! Good luck gettin it right dude!!

  • thats running on 1 cylinder.

  • to start. 1. run out of gas, shut cock off valve from gas to carb. every time. if not possible, hope it's a sunny day. 2. open stop cock from tank to carb. 3. turn manuel throttle full open, with power off, rotate kick to tdc, top dead center, kick three times. 4. turn manuel throttle full closed. 5. locate tdc. 6. power ON. 7. Get that baby! go with god...vLo

  • mad props on showing yourself with the all the misses, no one likes to be that guy trying to kick the guts outta his bike and failing, but the pay off is so worth it. those accelerator snaps are rich, your blowing out the flame, cut the choke as you gas up and use your throttle lock.

  • You gotta find the sweet spot to start her. Like spinning a blade on an old plane when she goes...its music.

  • kicking a bike up, is in keeping with great history and heritidge...as well as it being mucho macho..lol

My electric starter on my baby 125 packed up..I had to bump start it...wish I had a kick starter.. too much modern bollocks ruins illustrious antiquity

  • lucky man

  • that bike dont sound rite

  • oh shit, after all that work, I would be too tired to ride. lol. cool bike man.

  • BAck when men were men... I'll keep my electic start! HAhahaa

  • come on!!! i can start my dad 78 shouvel head with the kick start on it in like one try!!

  • Not every bikes the same. Buy one and you'll find out. Thats the beauty of it.

  • Better Just Start Wearing Sandals. Unless You Learn How To Set Valves and timing. If you can upload videos on youtube you can open a fuckin book. Guys like you make us classic Harley riders look like a monkey fucking a football

  • That is a nice bike. But, it's igniting too early. You're gonna blow the head gaskets. Check the distribuitor and delay the ignition. The mix sounds too poor. Try starting it with your right leg. Nice bike

  • knkhd is right, ya need to kick all through and keep the kicker down.

  • Hey there! Like the look on this bike! And i love Knuckles. But it isn´t behaving well.

Make someone show you how to get the ignition right, and you wont recognise your bike.Promise.

  • One of my favorite Knuckles! Killer motorcycle.

  • oh thanks

  • Sweet bike. Worth every bit of hassle it takes to start. You have the makings of a fine, classic ride.

  • cabritorsss is a funny dude. Sweet lookin' bike. Sounds like shit though.

  • このナックルはアメリカのガレージカンパニーで買ったヤツですね、あまり調子良くないみたいですが、ちゃんとメンテナンスして下さいね、組み上げた人に申し訳ないですので^^;

  • hey...write in english please!!!!!

who are you...someone i met in Japan last time?

  • What a piece of shit

  • The bike is cool though...

  • Get on it like a man. Retard the mag 4 or 5 degrees. Give it a half choke and a third throttle. Now kick it like you mean it. Long hair, a leather jacket and not taking a shower does not make you an "old school" biker...it makes you a "wannabe".

  • cabritorsss: Ah, come on, and that coming from someone with NO videos of his own? Isn't that like being a 'wannabe' YouTuber? Give the guy a break, don't tell him how to, show him! This is a video forum, you know!

  • Jut because I fon't drop my pants on You Tube don't mean others have to keep their pants on. HOWEVER...if you do drop your pants...expect comments from me or anyone else. Don't get hurt feelings if someone says your ass stinks...

  • 1940 wow!

  • beautiful

  • le vecchie harley sono moto che hanno un anima ...e non vanno considerate solo delle motociclette.

    old school forever

  • Great Knuckle-Bobber! Ride safe and stay cool!

  • I was rooting for you all the way!! Good job!

  • give it a couple soft compelte kicks with the choke ON and the ignition OFF to prime the cylinders, then open the ignition advance timing a littel, about 1/4 of the handle and give a good kick, it should start first kick

  • When it starts first kick let me know, CHEERS MATE!

  • Watch your mouth

  • Yup, you probably got the timing sorted by now (I hope). What a punishment to give yourself! Been there and it's not funny BUT when you get it so it kicks over first time like my Shovel did with a gentle swing it's a breeze.Great looking bike.Good luck sorting out that glitch.

  • läuft wie ein einzylinder, sollt mal zu einem german schrauber!!!

  • You probably already know this by now but it's best to hold the kicker at the bottom of the stroke rather than letting it kick back at you. It'll save you from one day being tossed over the bars or breaking your leg. Great looking bike...

  • Badass bike!

  • set your points and clean em too.

  • thanks for the info.

    it's right.

    i already got that magazine.

  • i saw this bike in the last greasy kulture...

  • a bit brutal kickin hum ?

  • Did you bought this knuckle at garagecompany?

  • yes, how do you know?...

  • I saw him on their site about two years ago......... It's a beautiful example of a real bobber! In what condition is the engine, sounds like if it runs on one pit?

  • no parlimiento italiano but all these guys talked bout ur timing n they're right. mind the magneto the spark plugs n all wiring as well...

  • Poor bike, running on one cylinder . .

  • yep! one cylinder sam

  • I'm sure by now you've advanced your timing.

  • Backfiring and smoke coming out of the carb is never a good thing. Your timing is off.

  • kickin the bike with your left leg because you fucked up the right one. It's all in the timing.

  • hello , nice bike , but need some help in the point of platinum, spark very delayed for that reason it has delay in the acceleration and back the kick in the first attempts...... el punto del platino o tambien llamado accionador de chispa esta muy retrasado por eso te devuelbe la patada y responde con retraso a la aceleracion.

  • harley rules kick it

  • It looks great but I'm no mechanic nor do I have the money for repeat shop visits.

  • What a Bitch to start...But its worth it once it gets going...

  • Complimenti a Roberto Rossi!!!!

  • il buon vecchio zio non sbaglia mai!!!!

  • thanks

  • great bike. one question though. Where did you get that Triumph Jacket?!@

  • on ebay...very nice eh???

  • cool collection of bikes
