I hate to be that guy, but be smart (if you're in the U.S.) with this type of stuff. If that's not a registered NFA silencer then it's illegal (yes even though it's on an airgun), and could land you a 10 year stay in a Fed prison. Don't believe me. l

Better to do this legally. You are allowed to own a silencer/suppressor. Just have to pay the man and pass a background check. And be 21. Then you can get a real one that works far better than your home made jail ticket.

Remove the vid, destroy the suppressor you made in the vid. whatever you intend to do, do it off camera.

Like both vids. The music sets a erie tone for silent death. Are those rubber washers or metal? And no it won't burn out after a couple of shots to the person who commented. Steel wool will, but not scuff pads.

since homemade silencers are illegal or very expensive if you go the legal route, of course these vids show an air gun, although his looks like a real rifle. Anyway you're supposed to apply the concept to other applications. After watching two of these vids and getting the concept I would be able to make one for a real gun/rifle in my shop.
