  • yeah, you rock:-)

  • Wow! Hector!!

this is awesome! I bought the same accordion for my daughter as an easter gift...

YOUR Very skilled at this one...is there a book I can get to help my daughter learn how to play?there isn't a class here that she could be taught on around here.... How about video lessons online? any idea's would be a great help//againYOUR GREAT!

  • Howdy. I think there may be some tabs online for the 'child prodigy'. Otherwise you can search or request on the button accordion site called 'melodeon.net'. I havent got much time to do more videos especially online tutorials. Have already done over 1500 videos over my two channels and am currently recording my 3rd and 4th audio cds. Thank you.

  • That thing is sweet! Was it easy to learn how to play?

  • It wasn't too bad. Yeah, it's a good little instrument. I play a big one so it wasn't too difficult. Thanks for watching.

  • lol. Love to see ye squeezing away on a Honer. You would be deadly. Awesome job.

  • Thanks for viewing my toy accordion music. Hector.

  • Hello,

I have bought my lad one of these but where do i find a tutorial specifically for the keys layout etc?..Would be most appreciated if you could help me on this.

    Regards

  • Hi Gent, usually these instruments are always in C. So the first button is a C on the push/blow and D is the pull/draw on the same button. It goes up the scale and ends with C back on the blow. Not sure where to find tutorials. Perhaps learn to play by ear to a song in C and work out where the notes are heading. Sorry I'm not more helpful!

  • For those of you that don't know this was filmed with many other videos before I did the change over of reeds (installing real reeds). So this was with the original cheap reeds! Thankfully now, the accordion can hold its tune

  • pretty good on that - very good in fact

  • Excellent. Beautifully played.

    Best wishes

  • The Child Prodigy's first button is the first note of the scale (which is C). This is unlike most full size accordions where it is the third button. Not sure whether you know but C is the first button on the push and D is on the pull. Second button is E on the push and F on the pull. Third button is G on the push and A on the pull and then on the 4th button, you play a pull which is B and then High C on the push. Theres your C scale! So get some sheet music in C! Or play by ear to something in C

  • Your vids are really great! I have a Child Prodigy accordion too, but having a hard time learning to play it because of the "single scale" diatonic nature. (Well that and not being too familiar with accordions.) Any tips?
