If you listen to the songs lyrics, it isn't protesting the military AT ALL, its protesting the politicians in this Country who refuse to pull their own weight & contribute to the war effort while telling others to fight, mainly the politicians who send other peoples kids off to war but not THEIR kids.

Does ANYONE disagree that Sadam was scum? What is argued about is that Bush lied about Sadam having links to Bin Laden, he lied about their being nukes, he ordered the army to protect the oil fields rather than the museums so priceless artifacts were stolen and hundreds and thosands of Iraqis died, and their economy tanked. Bush lied at every turn, and now we have got 5,000 dead Americans, not even to MENTION the Iraqi dead. No one suggested dishonoring American soldiers.

It was a scary, shitty time. 58,69 Americans killed (11,465 were teenagers). 304,000 Americans wounded. A lot of my friends got screwed up there. And from the time I was 18 till I was 22 - we never knew when we may have been drafted. At 18 you registered for the draft. and the rules changed constantly. 2,590,000 Americans served. This was Nam and those who came home were called baby killers, spit on at airports, yet I supported those Serving Our Country! Hard to support the Politicos.
