  • Haha! Very nice setup! I have the Polar Express G Gauge set around our tree!

  • Is that Z .. N...and HO scale? or is that Z and 3 sets of n guade on the platform?

You should see my Jaws video that involves 2 scale models overlapping within their tracks!

  • Yes, that is Z scale in the middle and 3 sets of N around it. I will look for your Jaws video!

  • Thats an awesome set-up!

  • Thanks! Please check out my original polar express platform video and then my current setup video. Scott

  • Again, another great setup! Love the Josh Groban music in the background... Thanks for sharing!

  • Hi this is Hal again, How did you make the mountain?

  • Hi Hal, The mountain is 30 inches high and about 56 inches at the base. I used the standard lionel radius track and spaced it out using straight tracks. The smallest diameter of the track is the top of the mountain where I just used curves and no straights. (comtinued)

  • For the actual construction of the mountain, I layed out the track the way I wanted it and then I sawed out 1/4 inch

  • Thanks, I'm glad that you like them, they are in my basement. If you look at my other videos, you will find my original setup and then my new and improved 2008. I tried to use less space so I could possibly leave it up all year.

  • Exciting! My boyz and I love The Polar Express! Is this in your home or garage or where?
