  • I love my black V6. :D

  • @j0j0mcm0m0

You are full of opinion. If you look at facts youd see american v8s are extremely efficient at providing bargain horsepower and reasonable mpg.

A chevy aveo w/ INline4 gets about same mpg as a corvette.... But has 1/4 the horsepower.... You really do get what you pay for. American v8s generally are bargain performance cars.

    Your stereotype is ignorant.

  • I WANT V8!!!!!

  • I hate that v sync poop though...

  • @LookSquirrel

How much r u getting it for because i am looking to get one too.

  • @collegefootballfan62

Here in my area. Houston, TX. They're going for around 22k-24k. I plan on settling for something no higher than 23k.

  • In a few months, this same exact car will be mine. That red candy paint will be worth the extra 400$! Looks great!

The V6 is good enough for me. It'll reflect my conservative personality with a bit of attitude.

  • Love the car. Hate the company.

Ford are moving to a "One Ford" policy where they sell one car lineup to the whole world.

Then why aren't they selling Mustangs in Australia! Grrrr, I want my Mustang...

And what is worse is they're scrapping our local muscle car, the Ford Falcon. Grrrr, this car has a 50 year history in Australia! And for all you horsepower junkies out there the slowest 6-pot model pushes out 282hp and there is a V8 in the lineup which gives you 449 horses under your right foot!

  • Great looking car ,great fuel economy and good power.

I have to agree with some responses anyone flaming this car is clearly jealous.

  • I would own that v6 in a heartbeat if it was at the right price ..with a couple bolt ons u can beat a gt 315 HP in a v6 ..good job Ford

  • This is funny. So much hate for the V6 comes from GT fans and those who hate the Mustang to begin with! So I guess that means they would hate on other cars that have 300hp + or . And I don't think it would take much to get another 50-150+ horsepower with a few engine mods, to add to that 300hp.

  • @SilverRaptorXL Well .... What else could you do for cheap ??? its already supercharged ..........

  • @bockydo The V6 isn't supercharged, it's all engine. But there are hundreds of aftermarket parts out there to get upwards of 400hp for the 3.7 V6 Mustang. I think there's even a magazine out there that's dedicated to the V6 Mustang.

  • I think the tail light look so stupid how they flash. I reminds me when George Lopez says im a puto im a puto. Is it suppose to be Knight Rider?

  • Ford 4Ever

  • Powered by Microsoft?! :-/

  • park this at any high school next to any super-car and it would still get more attention

  • @armadnt no, im pretty sure the Lamborghini Murcielago would get much more attention.

  • Even the 1982 TURBO model is proven slower, as stock. You're right, numbers don't lie. Sorry...

The 1982 Turbo (which yours may not even be) is over 7s 0-60 and over 15s 1/4 mile. The non-turbo is considerably slower.

I can only assume that the reason you're spamming this misinformation on 2011 Mustang V6 videos is out of pure jealousy. Sorry, numbers don't lie, and the numbers on the 2011 Mustang V6 are superior to that of the Datsun 240. The Datsun (for a rice burner) is nice, though.

  • My stock 240sx could smoke this car no prob. Just look at the ptwr. Facts are facts, Numbers dont lie. In your face ford fans! HA!!!!

  • I love this car, merry me XD

  • The Spirra EX: Hand made carbon fiber structure, 500 HP, Max speed 200 mph, 0-60 in 3.4 sec. LOL Mustang??? Sounds like plastic to me.

  • @MT323able Price?

  • @qbubbaq 140,000 its a Hand Made super car...comparable in performance to a Porsche 911 which costs more 350,000. Mustang price? LOL

  • @MT323able 140,000$ I would go for a ZR1 for that Kind of money.

  • @qbubbaq I will pay 30k more for a Spirra EX which is hand made and is not a PLASTIC heaven like the poorly made ZR1.

  • @qbubbaq UR RETARDED I WOULD BUY A GTR FOR 87 000 and go buy a fucken nother car thats bs 140 for plastic

  • @MrSpartan117fan the ZR1 isnt 140,000 it more like 90,000 and Iam not a large GM fan but is spanks the GTR hands down

  • I always thought putting a V6 in a pony car like this, camaros, firebirds etc. was was completely mental until now with this engine in this car. Virtually the same performance as the 09 GT with probably better handling. Awesome.

  • Put an XR6 turbo in it tuned to 400hp, you won't need a V8!

  • you can really tell that Ford wanted the new 2011 V6 To look like the '65 GT. it's beautiful !.

  • I am getting this car can't wait!!

  • thats not the 2011 its the 2010

  • @SuicideZombieDoll A 2010 with dual exhaust? LMAO!!!

  • i still think the mustang lacks power because a 5.0 v8 is capable of more than 412 bhp and the 4.0 v6 is capable of more than 305bhp!

  • @MillionairJoe it's 3.7L dumbass

  • @MillionairJoe

Yeah but the thing is that you lose mileage and reliability when you pull more power out of them. It is great that they are fast but most people are going to want to be able to live with the car day to day also. I think Ford is doing great with the 2011's just the way they are.

  • Beautiful, Ford is really getting better every year

  • Ford is really stepping up their game, not just against domestic rivals such as Dodge and Chevrolet, but just in general domestically and worldwide. Due to this, and the fact that it would be VERY difficult to find a foreign car with the same features and performance at the same price point, I am for the first time in my life, very seriously considering buying something that isn't German made for once. Kudos to Ford!! Finally I can be a proud American who isn't ashamed to drive an American car!!

  • Comment removed

  • @JadeEyedWolf I'm German and I really share your opinion.^^I really like the Mustang V6...But not the American V8s...Too high consumption of gas...But the V6 is pretty cool :)

Ps:The should bring American cars with smaller and economical motors to Europe :D

  • @JadeEyedWolf i dought any audi mercedes or bmw owners will stop using there cars and start using mustangs

  • the type of car that makes you want to have sex on it.

  • ford made the newer mustang the ugliest ever........awful looking changes and the seats are still the worst on long trips

  • @webangbang please god tell me you got one!! if only i read this months ago!

  • @congoman775 the germans do something daring to their vehicle lines and you call it an evolution. the americans do something daring to theirs and you call it ignorance.

  • give them a year or so and it will resemble a ford pinto.

  • @metal4ever1965 yeah and your honda civic will resemble how a honda civic looks when it gets 2 years old. like shit.

  • For the price of a GT I get a fully loaded V6. :D How often do you gun the car to need 435 HP.

  • @kari07 v6 is a lethal weapon, but the V8 will bite your head off and throw it into a bush :D

  • @kari07 Thats like sayin why have a pornstar for a girlfriend and not fuck her like one once in a while. You gotta have some fun with them thats why.

  • @kari07

Especialy when the V6 is about as good as the old V8.

  • @kari07

Absolutely. The 2011 v6 is plenty of power and the economy of a family sedan. It is great! If I am going to spend the money on a GT premium, I think I would rather have something more sporty like 370Z or used Corvette. Not that the Mustang isn't cool but I just think there are better options at that point.

  • looks ok i dont like the color but over all still good

  • 1:10 chickens in backround

  • @cowhurter The sound is Canadian Geese actually....

  • Ahh, just like the good old days. From where I sit, the mustang and camaro are both capable cars, with their own unique strengths and weaknesses. And both cars are fantastic rides, in V6 or v8 versions, particularly now that the mustang has those new engines. I wish I could have one of each, as I would love them all. Choices, choices.

  • Just curious... If the 2011 mustang is already out, when do they start selling the 2012? Fall of 2011?

  • camaro is still better

  • @shaban999 the camaro went to sleep for a few years...the Mustang, since the birth of its name, has always been in production...so, the Mustang must be better!

  • @6UNLEASHED

yea but those late 90's early 2000's mustangs were pretty douchetastic they might as well have not been in production. but i will admit that the 2005-2010 were better and this 2011 model is awesome

  • @6UNLEASHED

the pricing of the mustang putted the Camaro & Firebird to sleep.

  • @shaban999 haha...i think pretty much any review of both cars will prove you wrong. the new mustangs beat the camaro in every aspect that you compare. sorry

  • @shaban999 Oh yeah even though it's slower, has lower skidpad, slalom bitch

  • Ford doing the same misstake they did 1974. It toke them 31 years to repair it.

How long will it take this time? The designer of the new exterior should get fired.

The good thing is that the price will rais on old Mustangs 2005-2009.

Sorry for my bad english, but the new Mustang is so uggly

  • @seayou58

    i think it is awesome

  • I personally can't wait untill the car hits the showroom. While the V-8 is a bit out of my price range the 305 HP V-6 is not. I love the looks of it verses the other it's very clean & has nice lines. I'll give it a year before I bought one considering the V-6 is a new design. By that time all the bugs will be worked out. Same for the V-8 as well.

  • 0:24. Wow! Ford's in the house. I'm switching as soon as possible to a Ford unless GM really kicks some ass soon.

  • The only thing that ticks me off is that ford bailed on really making the mustang look like the Retro concept when the new design came out back in 2005, The older retro car looked boxy and ugly. this car looks VERY similar to the concept car and thus looks ssoooooo much better. so why did ford water down the design? what were they thinking. I just hope with all the great moves theyve been making it included axing off employee's that held the company back.

  • 2011 V6 has more than enough HP and power for me. I mean 305hp is one hell of a leap from 2010. And approx. 29mpg highway? Impressive. I'll go with this over the 2011 GT due to 5k lower base price, and lower insurance costs. Will wait until late summer to get the performance package when offered. More than enough performance and looks for my needs, at an affordable price.

  • Some may call the current V6 lame but , don't you remember it has almost the same power as the 1996 GT (210hp vs 215hp)?

I just arrived from the road and I had a lot of fun with a guy in a sentra who tried to keep up.

  • Nice V6 but with the 5.0 on the GT its a no brainer.

  • to Me doesn´t matter what people say, what really matters is that Mustangs Are Great!

If they´re better or not than the Camaro, is only to discuss, both are great!

But I prefer MUSTANGS all the way!

  • @mustangrockz I agree 100% !!!

  • I like it but I think the V6 Camaro sounds better.

  • Comment removed

  • has anyone seen the sport or pony package v6 yet?

  • it has a baby v8 gurgle! ford rules!

  • Gay. American's who think V6's are cool and badass are not Americans. The only cool American car with a V6 is the Grand National.

  • @74camarolt

    Lol!

Who defines what is american and what isn't? Besides where is the freedom of speech and think when you have to act and think in a specific way?

  • @SteelSnail True American car enthusiats decide. And what did you mean by your second sentence?

  • Grand Nationals are the ugliest things I ever seen.

  • thats not a 2011 v6 mustang its the 2010 version stop lying to there people...

  • How can you tell?

  • Numbers aren't everything. I changed a 200hp honda accord (2001) for a 2010 V6 Mustang and I'm hooked. Even at low revs the engine delivers lots of torque and paired with rear trans makes the car lots of fun!

And yes, I'm considering trading it in for the 2011.

  • @SteelSnail

then why did you waisted all that Money and time for getting a '10 of you knew that the 2011 would be better. the 2010 has a 4 liter V6 and the 2011 has a 3.7 V6 wich has 307BHP MORE then the 2005 V8.

  • @pershing22

First of all it's not a waste because I'm enjoying it right now and have for the past four months.

Also when I bought it I did't know of the 2011; I don't think it was announced then. And last I got a great deal because my cousin works at Ford and you have to go for it while you can. Who knows if prices will go up or if my cousin stops working for Ford or if I get married and spend all my money in the honeymoon.

  • If you love youre car, thats all that matters.

  • @SteelSnail It was already rumored last year in early Fall, which is why I held off on buying a '10 model. While it's true that the people who bought the '10 model will look a little ridiculous, it doesn't matter. It's your car, and if you love it, forget what others say. And as far as I have read, the exterior/interior will look the same. People won't know just by looking.

  • pointless...

  • they definitely have to cover that engine with a nice engine cover. Its ugly looking without an engine cover!!

  • Cant wait for this car to come out! And fyi, people who talk crap on youtube are about as retarded as people who talk crap on world of warcraft!

  • who the plays world of warcraft anymore. lol

  • @Captncronica

you won't read a reply because you know you are wrong sadly you gaymaro doesn't perform the same as this mustang, nor does your ss version

  • @Captncronica '

steal ideas from chevy lmao didn't know chevy patented the v6 dip shit

  • And lets not forget that Mustang came out 3 years before the Camaro did. So it looks like Chevy copied Ford. No surprise there, though.

  • Fgfffhj

  • Very nice engine, remarkable performance for a V6!

  • Damn I'm just playing with u guys I'm doing this bcuz it makes people mad and it's fun to c wat they say

  • Just do what Ford done in Australia and bolt a turbo to it.Eats V8's for breakfast.

  • Different engines. Their 6-cylinders are inlines.

  • @bead100 you suck no matter who the hell makes you!

  • people will hate, even mustang GT fans, but this car has been selling non stop since it's inception..and the V6 brings in the most money..

the v6 ain't going no where people.

  • @magicalpoop Bolt a supercharger to it.

  • @magicalpoop I get kinda t'ed when people knock v6s too. Some people don't remember that some folks want some power but also day to day functionality. Its gotta be economically reasonable. Not to say a v6 person doesnt like fun and fast but with gas being the way it is...having a v8 isnt a smart daily driver unless you're rakin in 70,000+ a year.

  • ford is sitting on a pile of money with this thing comin out i mean come on 30mpg 300hp v6 theyre gonna make a shitload

  • The v6 stang has 305 hp, but what is the torque?

  • The torque is 280ft lbs. I answered my own? The new stang will beat the challenger and camaro v6. The new v6 stang is just shy of the older Gt.

  • The nice part, is that these base V6 mustangs are going to have 305 horsepower. Take that Camaro!!!!

  • 3.7

  • 3.7 or 3.8 V6.

  • are they sticking to the 4.0 V6? I know they're going 5.0 V8 but what are they doing to this one?

  • The Camaro is very heavy, the new V6 mustang should perform considerably better. First it's almost 300 lbs lighter. Second, more horsepower and torque. Third, available track pack for enhanced handling (something the mustang already beat the Camaro V6 in)

  • does anyone know the prices on the gt and the v6?

  • they are about the same. I talked to advantage ford in calgary and they told me the price will go up 1800 in canadian dollars for a gt.

  • I wonder if you can order the 5.0 in the v6 package because the v6 looks better than the gt

  • @robotmonkey73 Looks too plain though.

  • @robotmonkey73 it might be a preferance thing when I first saw this cars I though the same but then I saw the agressive angles of the GT and I change my mind again.

  • @robotmonkey73 you could buy them both and convert.probably not the most economical plan but it would work

  • the thing that gets me is WHY did ford realease that watered down version of the concept when they released the retro style!? The is a truer rendition of the concept.

  • @xevious2501 People always do that. All automakers will sell a watered down version because you have to think about the cost to build.

  • Does anyone who the specs as far as 0-60 time or top speed?

  • I saw the gauges and they say 160 mph but you know that is governed. so i assume top speed around 150mph. 0 - 60 should also be around 5 to to 6 seconds. (my guess)

  • i have always found aftermarket providers go BIG on mustang i really dont see it being hard to add a few odd and evens, 4.10 gear, under drive pullies, lighter roller rockers, cold air intake, and a tune. im sure it will spank a nice amount of cars out there in its price range and above

  • Can't wait till Spring to test drive it!

  • Even though ford retuned an engine from mazda, they did a great job with it.

  • @JcmMagNoo this is no mazda engine

  • Yes it is, Ford shares the Mazda developed Duratec engines. It was co-developed b/c of Ford's stake in Mazda, but it was mostly Mazda designed.

  • @bezzle67 duratec engines are made by ford and shared with Mazda. they first duratec engine was introduced in the Ford Mondeo and contour. this 3.7 engine is from the cyclone family and the engine did begin production in the Mazda cx-9 and a year later in the MKS and Mazda 6. ford also made this variation for the 2011 MKZ, who knows if they will share this engine with Mazda when they don't own it no more. ecoboost's are also duratec's

  • Sorry, meant to say "mostly Ford designed". There are some duratec engines that were produced by some of Ford's subsidiaries. For instance, the 2.5l Duratec Inline-5 is a Volvo design. The 2.5l V6 in the Ford Contour and Ford Probe is a Mazda design. You can still call these Ford designs if you want since they were both owned by Ford. However, try not to get all your facts from Wikipedia next time. They are not the most reliable source.

  • @bezzle67 lol Mazda has been own by ford since the 70's and duratec's have been produce by ford for ford products, at the moment almost all the I4 v6's, and ecoboost models are duratec's. the 2.5L in the contour was never a Mazda engine until Ford used it on the 2000 MVP. anyway i own a SVT contour which also has a duratec engine

  • Ford doesn't own Mazda anymore. Also, you can't say that Ford used it in the Mazda MPV (not MVP) for 2 reasons. The first is that Mazda still made pretty much all of its own decisions because that's what Ford wanted them to do. The second is that the 2.5l v6 in the MPV is the AJ model. A Mazda design. And yes I do realize that most of Ford's v6 and I4's are part of the Duratec family. I never refuted it, so why do you keep bringing it up.?

  • @bezzle67 because they are all ford designed, even the mazda one's are version of ford's own designs.they almost all of them started production on ford models first's. i know doesn't own Mazda share now, but they still have a platform sharing agreement.

  • Wow ... for a V6 ... that sounds damn nice

  • The camaro engine has about the same specs, yet this mustang is a lot ligher. Since it is significantly lighter than the camaro, it will be faster. Im pretty sure the weight reduction will help the fuel economy a bit too. This is the real deal camaro killer.

  • agreed

  • also my guess on how the whole ford vs chevy thing is going to go, stock vs stock, mustang V6 > camaro V6. Modded, camaro > mustang. as for the GT and SS, im gonna have to say to close to call. Modded im gonna have to say camaro though.

  • @pontiacfreak142 i think modded ford but yea def. V6 was a good guess but we can only wait and see :]

  • i cant wait to see how this thing performes, both the 6 and the 8. Although i will say that some of you need to get your facts strait. Yes the current stang was close in a 0-60 run, the camaro will run a high 12 pass bone stock while the stang is in the mid to 13 second range.

  • and plus the stang has a 5.0l vs the camaro 6.2l and thrust me the 11 gt will rape the ss!!

  • Well fact remains that the camaro 2011 though definately weaker in comparison to this..looks better on the road imo

Oh n the rear indicator is cool..

  • Ford should have made their turbo 6 an option it has almost as much power as the v8 and better MPG

  • but that's the reason they didn't go through with the turbo 6, they still need the sales on the new v8

  • A 300+ horsepower V6? I can only imagine the carnage teenage girls are going to unleash on the road with their "little V6" mustangs. Jesus.. LOL

  • @One5thOfWhiskey Can you look up the specs sir, since when has their been a V6 Mustang from the factory that ran a 13.7 @ 102mph. That's fugging awesome. No while you're going to beat everything in town, it will make the ricer boys wish they had more power....

  • @95badbird this is exactly where this car shines--in the real world. In bench racing, every Supra is a 9 second car, and every Nissan GTR puts out 740 hp. On the road, this thing will sweep the streets. Let alone the 5.0 version.

  • Really, Camaro SS 426 HP

Last year's Mustang GT 305 Horse Power.

that's 111 HP more that the Camaro SS has.

Yet in a 0-60 race the SS is only 0.1 second faster than the GT.

Now the Mustang GT has 415 horse power...I wonder who's going to win...

    Yeah...Mustang

  • Hahaha poor naive, Ford Mustang has years beating the game to the Chevrolet Camaro, not for nothing Chevrolet left to produce his Camaro in 2002 because the Mustang crush it in sales so I tell you my friend: there are cars but no one like the legend, THE MUSTANG MY PASSION .

  • not counting looks cause that's all opinion based but the 2011 mustang gt and camaro ss have around the same hp but the mustang is considerably lighter and the 2010 already handled better so you care to explain why its better ?

  • this looks like a 2010 gt but im happy they have the same style in the v6 except the lights.

  • i just bought a new 2009 v6, pony package, it has 210 hp but is a nice looking car, no point in buying a 2010 v6 as it has the same engine, think I will wait for a 2011 with the 300+ hp engine.

  • i just bought a 2010. it looks sooo much better. inside is alot nicer too.

  • yes, but it has the same 4.0 v6 210 hp engine as mine, i am going to get the 2011 v6 with the new 310 hp engine with a lot more fuel efficiency too, i think it will be worth the wait, that was my point, nothing wrong with a v6 i like them, but the 2011 v6 will have the same hp as the current v8 gt

  • @ 79274333; The 2010 has no interest for 5 years and on 2 interest for 6 years. You should of got a 10 dude.

  • heh, geese are flying south, this vid was taken in sept or october.

nice car, about damn time the base model was made into something worthy of the mustang badge.

i have a 2001 4.6L and used to have a 91 2.3L in college, at least i could argue that the 2.3L got better mileage than the 5.0 LOL, (which i had an 86 5.0L 4 barrel prior to college)

  • @attananightshadow i came a little

  • batarista....camaro is garbage its a chevrolet is a gm is a Company in bankruptcy the same pontiac, saab and other gm marks

    chevrolet garvage forever

  • man...THE CAMARO SS IS BETTHER AND MORE HP, actually i think the malibu looks more sport than the mustang..really

  • @batarista

    Please

If a 2010 MustangGT with 315HP is only a hair slower on the 0-60 Then a 426HP crapmaro Super Shit, Then imagine what damage 400 horses will do. And don't start putting your allmighty Z28 trump card cause the 2011 Shelby GT500 is gonna have an aluminum block with alleged twin turbos.

2011: The year Camaro Falls... AGAIN.

  • Oh sorry, guess I should ready better.

  • Ford says 30mpg.

  • Everyone just hates what they can't have. Typical chevy fans that are flaming every new 2011 mustang video on youtube, wether it be the 5.0 or the v6 there is always some camaro fanboy in there commenting on how the camaro is better. Just wait and see, leave it at that.

  • wait till the exhaust systems comes out for that V6. it'll lound like beast

  • ur probily one of those dodge losers that hate that dodge is now a foriegn car, or mabey a honda ricer. haha

  • goooood

  • I just like ford's effort to distiguish the v6 and the GT

  • wow, great car. ford really did an excellent job with it. the only problem is the start up noise, that would annoy me pretty bad haha

  • Sounds like they're trying REAL hard to make it sound like a V8. :<

  • It already has the V8 power with the MPG of a V6
