I hate to say this but DMC2 sucked a bag of dicks. I didn't find out what the death screen looked like until maybe around the final boss of the game. And even on that occasion I think I may have just has to use a yellow revival orb.

The other three are much better.

The reason this sucks is : it's too simple,even for my standards(not very high),u can destroy all the enemies just with guns,the graphic sucks in the landscapes,too dark,and did not improve in the rest,the plot is dull,everybody expected a story mode with Trish,and there is this ugly Lucia,instead,and Trish is playable only as a reward,lucia's story is practically the same as trish,finally Dante is more emo here than really cool as we intend it in this series.

well it was said that he fought mundus a second time before this games story took place. between each game there is a book that ties the story of the games together so basicly its (dmc book-dmc 3-dmc 1-anime-dmc 4-book v.2-dmc 2. its been rumored that dmc 5 will pick up directly from the last cutscene in dmc 2. yea its confusing but its a great story
