@cityofbones0 wrong file type, you might be putting a video in instead of an actual audio clip, try another and double check its version

UHHHHH the only problem i'm having is just when i try to open the folder with the .wav file in it with hldj, i can't open the folder with the sound file in it and then it says theres no mp3 file in the folder when i put it right in my mic spam folder.

Ok so i did everything the video did. When i go to export WAV and save it as same name it pops up with an error that says "Is directory write-protected or disk full" pops up. Any clue what i should do?

@Doog104 either 3 things, where you have your spam folder you cannot put the spams in there, move the folder to the desktop for best effectivness, the spam is to long make it shorter, or you got to many spams in that folder, delete a few

Thank you for a very useful tutorial! My only question is, how do I know this will work in game? I've chosen my "play button" in game and I saw in the far right corner that indeed there was sound playing. But I myself couldn't hear it. Is it supposed to be this way? nice video, but after i put my spam music file into a specific directory i choose, and start the game (l4d2) with HLDJ, press F1 , It only shows the my MIC is playing but people don t hear anything, all they hear is the typing sound, wat s the problem? so it' definately 24-bit mono? most other source mic spam tut's say to use 16bit mono.

@CorpralChip33 the main problem could be that you have made a slight error during the process or the sound your using is not correctly formatted, try restarting tf2 and stuff etc etc if that dont work retry everything

Mabye the server you went on dont allow mics to be used, but also another reason might be is sound is not working, or which usally happens to me is that hldj glitches so try restarting it
