As for Leona... she got her fame from X Factor... most people who make it into the industries because of singing competitions won't last long...

Whitney is obviously the best !
Whitney and Charice have very powerful voices, where as, Leona is more like Mariah.
Leona isn't great at belting but she has a better falsetto and head voice than Whitney and Charice.
They are all good in different areas, can't really compare.
I prefer Leona's voice as i think it is easier to listen to, whitney and charice use too much power for me, i don't really like belting.
However, this is just my opinion, others may disagree.

Charice is by far the best singer in the philippines. If you asked an unheard person who sings better, Charice, Regine, or Sarah. Charice wins. Sarah gets to nasally, Regine now is more scream/belt, but undoubtly really good when she was young.
As for this video I like all three. When i was reading the title i was like Charice, Leona, then ?Whitney? Not even in the same league, meaning more established, I thought it would be another young singer,nope Whitney.Whitney is the embodiment of singing

Aha, from 3:54 even Whitney uses low tones or low register. Charice really captured Whitney's essence here. I'm beggining to understand what David Foster saw on Charice. She really sounds like Whitney Houston here, and sometimes even better imo. Charice's high notes here sounds amazing and so full. Leona is really good. Though I thought her voice is thinner here in this vid and always high. Compare Leona's part on 2:58 - 2:59 with Charice's part on 5:42- 5:43.

when whitney sings, it looks effortless, it is because she is applying less effort. when charice sings, she exerts more intensity, and so she gives more justice to the songs. i bought 2 of whitney's cassettes back in the days, but i'd pick charice between the two of them.

I think Charice's voice is the most powerful justding from these vids alone...plus it feels smoother and less...idk, intermittent than Whitney's, and Leona's voice is pretty. But, and I'm only looking at this vid, Charice's is the best, followed by Leona, than Whitney (but maybe for her time, that was the style you had to have when u sang, which is why i don't think it's that good...)

If whitney is “the voice” of your generation, charice is “the girl with the voice” of this generation, you might have seen this at oprah’s promo vids. Whitney Houston wins this every time for me... Whitney WAS great during her time - and the Whitney we saw then, is still unmatched in terms of vocal talent, even to this day. The other two are amazing up and coming stars, but Whitney to many people, will always be known as "The Voice".

2,,, Whitney got a strong voice but whenever she performs live, she always try to fake the version of her song to make it so much easier to sing.....I dont get It!! Whitney's voice is wonderful but it cracks.
