The N64's library has a really crushing lack of diversity. No good fighters, very very few good 2D games, no good racing/sports games, no RPGs worth playing. The PS1 had them all and then some.
All of those early 3d N64 (and PS1) games have aged horribly so don't go around calling them timeless just because nostalgia allows you to look over the glaring flaws that exist in games like Goldeneye nowadays.

Online connection isn't laggy at all. Both consoles have been compared side by side, only to reveal they both run exactly the same. If you're lagging, it's probably because you have a bad ISP or that you live in a distant country. Content is paid off to come earlier on the 360, I thought everyone knew this? The N64's library has a really crushing lack of diversity. No good fighters, very very few good 2D games, no good racing/sports games, no RPGs worth playing. The PS1 had them all and then some.
All of those early 3d N64 (and PS1) games have aged horribly so don't go around calling them timeless just because nostalgia allows you to look over the glaring flaws that exist in games like Goldeneye nowadays.

I also enjoy SNES games (the last great age of Nintendo), but plenty of PS1 games are still playable to this day. The many great RPGs, the platformers, the GTAs, MGS are still as fun as ever. Online connection isn't laggy at all. Both consoles have been compared side by side, only to reveal they both run exactly the same. If you're lagging, it's probably because you have a bad ISP or that you live in a distant country. Content is paid off to come earlier on the 360, I thought everyone knew this? Regardless, I prefer my content to be worked through and have no bugs.
