do u know where i can find the chord thingee for this song?
like with the lyrics on it then the chords are above the words. im just starting out a little bit. or like tell me what the chords are. i didnt really get it on the vid.
Brilliant, just bloody brilliant! Capoed at 3 it really does play well with the recording. The Here Comes the Sun lesson was great. Being a rhythm player and one who doesn't like finger-picking, I love these campfire versions.
Great lesson!! Thank You!! The world if full of too much negativity. You idiots out there that are more concerned with mistake or imperfections will be working @ MacDdonads for the rest of your lives.
Totally agree, this is a great lesson, I have not been playing for long and think this is a great play along, we need more like this on you tube. Fantastic.
Thanks for the vid. As a beginner I found it a little difficult to follow, so I wrote down the lyrics with the chord changes above. Hope this is helpful. Please let me know if I made any mistakes.
Thanks Grounhog. Love the alternating bass. Also love the quick and easy "campfire" version. Works quite well for us verrrrrry verry beginners. Never knew how your left hand finger tips could take such a beating.
hey man great job! I really wanna learn this but its a little hard to follow when ur just playing. u shud put the chords and tab up while ur playing. if ya can, that'd be great. thanks man
That was bloody fantastic! I only had to watch this for the first verse and chorus and could play the whole thing. You are a magic teacher! Thank you for taking the time to post this video.
Thank you, man! That's a really good tutorial for learning Hey Jude. It would be nice, if you post a video with right hand playing slowly because it's hard to follow all the movements of the right hand fingers. Chords are really easy here, even for the begginers like me:) Thank you anyway! (sorry for bad english, I'm from Latvia)
It's really just a walk down from a G to an Em, so it's G then G/F# then Em then Em7/B (all you need there is the 2nd fret of the A string as the bass and then open D,G,B,E strings).
How old is that Gibson you're playing? I think I have a similar one that's nearing 40 years that my dad gave me some years ago, and this is the closest one I've seen to it.
Lovely lesson! I'm always getting nagged to play this one around the campfire every summer. No way I could play it as good as your version, but practice makes perfect, eh? You've set the definitive 'Hey Jude' version for me to practice at. Thanks for posting it. Keep rocking, mate :)
Yes, it's nice, isn't it? Not mine, sadly. A student lent it to me for a week or so, long enough to fall in love with it. It's a Gibson B-25 (I think!) around 1968 or so. I think they can be found now for around a thousand dollars if they're in okay shape. You might want to check out my Long Ride Home video... I play it there again.
This is terrific! You have a great voice and taught it well :) Can`t wait to learn it and play it for my friends and family, thanks so much

nice tutorial ;D but would be better if you can edit a lil bit and place the chords in vid while playing so its easier for absolute begginers ;D
