I would not say it gives more momentum. Only if you are not strict enough with your form. On the contrary, I found it to give more freedom of movement for a better contraction. It was one of Arnold favorite in the golden age of BB!
is there any difference than seated c curl? because if ur bent low, it seems ur elbow can move around which I think it can be worse cuz it kinda gives sort of momentum. Also since ur not sitting, ur wasting energy to stand up like that, when u could've saved energy for bi.

Not at all! You have to keep your back flat and use a weight light enough to get 8-10 clean reps!
