CM 690 II > Antec 300 straight up. , I have it and its great. , but also consider the haf 922, i had both , (HAF and CM 690II) and the HAF 922 was easier to work with than the CM 690 II adv that i have right now , but it looks better imo so yeah.
Excellent review, case, and motherboard all its exceptional, BUT if you wish to build a Quad FireX u can´t it. Sadly u need and case with 8 or more expansion slots and this particular case fit only 7 slots.

Wow. I like those quick release hard drive mounts. That's nice. I'm not a big fan of full tower cases though. I like mid-towers so I can set them on my desk for easier access. I'd have to keep a full tower on the floor.
Besides, my case has such a wicked paint job. I wouldn't use any other case, period. This thing is one of a kind. :-)

It's a Thermaltake Kandalf Extreme. I modified the side panel and replaced the plexiglass for the window. Then I got everything custom painted by a friend of mine who does airbrush work.
There's a door in the front of the case that covers the drives. I got that chrome plated. It's a gorgeous case. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I never plan on using a different one.
hey pm with info on the friend who painted it. i need to get some info on what paints to use for airbrushing cases. i am also an artist (i use to own an airbrush shop). i never did any cases then. lots of leather and motorcycle helmets but, it has been a few years since the helmet painting.
I'm not totally sure, but I think he used auto urethane paint, the same stuff used on cars. Because that case shines nearly as good as my car does after a good wax job. You can almost see your reflection in it, it's that good. :-)

not anymore due to the realization that i will need more of my pc upgrade budget for a new Gcard.
Now i am comparing the cm 690 2 and the antec 300 and other cases in that price range but thanks for responding.
