Hi, Elle, I love this video! I recommend Arm & Hammer's Baking Soda and Peroxide toothpaste. I thought I'd mention it because bs helps with eliminating bad breath and peroxide whitens, so you might really like it! I drink some water and apply chapstick right after because the BS tends to give you a dry mouth.... but it's my absolute favorite!

My dad is a dentist, so I know loads of stuff about this. When using over the counter whitening products, don't eat acidic foods right afterwards!!! (fruit juice, sour gummy worms) the whitener can break down you enamel and you need to let it build back up. This happens naturally because the minerals it is made of are already in your saliva. also the ADA stamp on the gum is because it helps you make more saliva, which causes more of the enamel building chemicals to get on your teeth.

i wear retainers every night now and it's a lot better except my breath stinks in the morning!

if u have to wear retainers afterwards, i'm sorry if i scare u, lol, it's not that bad, u'll probs get better ones than i did, mine are only temporary and i have to keep changing them.
