@MsJster7 I know, it's shocking when you see for yourself the destruction that extends as far as the eye can see. Oh, and the smells. You can never forget what it smelled like.........at Joplin, it was industrial smoke and weird factory scents.
@stellabelle how interesting to remark on the smells in joplin of industrial smoke and weird factory scents. I realize everything mixed together maybe and caused the smell. I'm trying to feel what it's like to be there
@davexz I know. My jaw was hanging down the entire time I was walking around the decimated city. The news doesn't even begin to make you understand the scope of the destruction. I have a different idea of what a tornado is now. I still cannot understand the width of the tornado, as my brain cannot comprehend that big of a size.
Number 1 may 23 not 25 and i was even lucker ok i was in the tornado to and a wall fell on me

Yea, I went to Gulf Port after katrina. The TV screen does not portray the true magnitude of something like an F4-5 or Hurricanes!
I'm planning my trip to Joplin at the end of the month. It feels good to connect. I know help will still be needed.
