  • why did aca bankrupt?.

  • @ricofojas2011 That I don't remember why. They weren't bankrupt for a long time though. I believe it was 1992 when it happened and then the company changed into ASC.

  • is it still made?.

  • @ricofojas2011 Sadly no. T-128s would be the closest replacement to this or if you want to be more hard core, you can go with a T-135.

  • We have RM-130s all over the city. Decatur,Illinois. We also have one SD-10 but I do not know if It still there or not. I live in Decatur all my life.

  • I live Midland County and all of our RM-130s and T-128s work great. Midland County tests their sirens of the first Saturday of each month at 12:45 PM and a "Growl" test occurs every Saturday at 12:45 PM.

  • sounds like a 2001 but its a good siren

  • I live in Midlan County. As a matter of fact we had a Tornado Warning and was at my friends house who lives just a few miles from Dowtown Midland. This Siren is still up and running but I tell you they have a few nice T-128's as well.

  • Idk about you but i just sounds like another Federal Signal 2001

  • mine sounds like its talking

  • MY EARS! Are they trying to warn us fir a tornado or melt our brains and make them come out of our ears. If thats the case they did a pretty good job

  • Nice close-up recording Dan! Today was the first time I noticed this type of siren.

  • RM-130... the stepping stone between Penetrator and Tempest?

Cetrainly looks like a strange prequel to the T-128... how many ports?

  • @DasMidnightDrifter Every RM-130 is 9 port while the T-128s are 8 port and yes the RM-130 was the stepping stone which is why these are more rare then the RM-127s.

  • @Siren1000T1 Will do.

  • Great video! It looks like the siren in my town, except it's CD Yellow in color. Not sure if it's ACA or ASC but it sounds good. I'll post a video to compare.

  • @Siren1000T1 Good deal. Thanks for the info.

  • Never heard of a PN-20 before. It looks like the child of a P-50 and a T-128. What were the production years and decibal rating for this model?

  • @akaDJMantis Correction: The name PN20 was only used when ACA was still the company name before they went broke. After they became ASC, the new name was called RM-130 for this type of siren since it was still in the Penetrator Line until 1998.

  • @Siren1000T1 , no problem. I know about some PN20s that I can get on film sometime. Hopefully, later this year.

  • Awsome video. That P-20 sounds great! I'm glad more RM-130/P-20s are on youtube.

  • so this was before the introduction of the tempest line?

  • @weathermaniac1 You would be correct.

  • Nice ASC RM-130!

  • Nice PN20 Dan!

  • Awesome sounding PN20 Dan!

  • Awesome sounding P-20, Dan. Was it loud in person?

  • Excellent video, Dan. :)

  • oh and i forgot to mention that i personally think this is your best siren video ever! 5 stars and favoriting

  • Great video dan! i have never seen one of these sirens before... sounds great!

  • Nice PN20, Dan. Good to see another Michigan city using ASC sirens.
