hey man nice solo! and im looking to buy that same kit. well similiar. the one im looking ats a 7 piece. anyway, theres a good deal, but i have just never heard of taye before. is the hardware and all that jazz good?
i have a taye rockpro stage kit and the hardware is top notch. nice double braced cymbal, snare, and hi hat stands. the kick pedal is ok. ive had my set for 7 years and nothing has gone bad on it. the only thing that wasnt stellar was the snare. i had to tune it a lot to get it sound any good. the toms sound amazing tho. the stock skins that come with it are surprisingly good. all in all a great drum set.
nice...i have a rock pro kit too, but its a classic kit, not a stage, with a 24 inch bass drum...you are rite though: the stock heads are good and it does take a bit to get a good sound from the snare...newayz, good luck on your playing and nice to meet a fellow drummer that shares the same series drum kit!
nice man...i have the same kit but it is a rockpro classic kit and has a massive 24 inch bass drum...i love the sound of the drums and i was watching your stuff a little earlier...i must sayL very nice drumming, man!...keep up the great playing and its always nice to meet a fellow drummer with the same brand drum kit!
almost baught some about 6 years ago and wish i had. i went with a set of PEACE onyx drums instead, and tho they were good, i got a chance to play a set of these taye drums and they're much more crisp for my style.
That cymbal came to be like that probably through much abuse. The cymbal is from one of my students. I am selling the drums and cymbals on eBay next week some time.

Is the quality the same since Ray left? I'm kinda sceptical now, seeing as they're made in Taiwan... =\

What model was this? Pro-X? Are those the stock heads?
Not interested if it's still for sale, I just may be getting a Pro-X myself and was interested in how good they sound.
