Richard Wagner died 1883, 50 years befor the nazi regime.

I don't think that he wanted that his music became famous that way.

I wonder if you are a revisionist, or a bad educated german. Nazism strengthened all his myths (definitely) , based on german arts and esthetics, especially with Wagner .Because that art ,and literature of that time give ,the explicit clear basis for nazism . All against , or even non repeting ,theme, was burst on fire on streets.

Pero el pueblo alemán siempre ha tenido cultura en profundidad y proficuidad , y, hicieron lo que solamente pudo salir del motto de Wagner . Que otra cosa há resultado despúes de Wagner ? I stood in bayerischer Operhaus for Meistersinger for 5 hours (stand ticket).... but was very happy because the music was great

I was there 1976. I was 16 then. No problems at all for me with that. I loved every second of that week in that lovely and friendly town. ;)

Diese leute sind keine echte Wagnerianer. Wagner hatte nie für diese leute seine oper geschrieben aber für den ganzen volk. Man kan auch in jeans im Bayreuther Festspiele kommen wenn man ein echter Wagnerianer ist .
