It was a good team play fake, the line blocked like it was going to the back, so the d-line and linebackers were looking at the back, while really the only guy who could have stopped Luck was the DB blocked by the receiver. Luck himself was just a small part of what happened there

this was a great play action, but it is really the cameraman's fault that you all think the whole defense was fooled. luck broke the tackle in the backfield, and then a good block by his receiver, allowed him space to run. good play call, good assignments, not much more.

Actually if you looked closer. Washington's DE cuts up the backfield and at the last second sees Luck witht he keeper and made a heave at him, he didn't "break" a tackle. The CB also cut up field biting on the fake and tried to make up for it but Luck was already past... Very good fake by Luck. Poor observation by you.

Once Andrew Luck is drafted into the Colts, Peyton will teach Andrew the playbooks and soon once Peyton is out of the picture, the Colts will have a reliable quarterback and hopefully can then rely on their defense.
