Dude,no offence but,you are noob.At 2:33 is the best time to make a multikill using grenade and u use shotgun?With the grenade you get multiple damage with less bullets and save ammo for Dr.Salvador(the chainsaw guy)

If you run straight thru the village and take the last lane on the left, you will meet another Salvator with a chainsaw ! He has a 10000 pts worth jewel. That makes it 20000, very important for the first round !

I remember running around in the village, all those zombies about.

I had no bullets left, no shotgun (I didn't know about the house, thanks for the walkthrough), and I ended up cowering in the large church tower, getting molotoves thrown at me every two seconds, then there was too much fire, and I just ran around like a maniac through the village, dodging thrown axes.

I discovered the chainsaw guy at the gate at the other end of the village past the big tower, I killed him and got the ruby, I went into the house after that and he appeared again, I killed him again and got 10K so you can do it twice for a higher reward.

When you went through to collect items around the village, you missed the ammo in the chimney on top of the house with the Shotgun in it.

@TheSizyanator You can station your character inside of the tower (the one with the ladder with the Shotgun ammo at the top next to the Church). They'll throw bottles of fire at you and your health will go down completely, but it won't kill you. You can stay there until the bell rings and everyone leaves to go around the village and collect the things. It's sort of the scardy-cat way out, but it works if you don't feel like wasting ammo. I used it on Gamecube. Not sure about PS2.

It only happens when you enter the house, so there is a way to not have him all together. BUT, you won't be able to get the 10k he drops after killing him.

there are actuallly 2 chainsaw men on the village

if you dont go into the house though he will not apear but you cannot get the shotgun

the second chainsaw ganados is completely optional

if you go towards where you leave the villlage during the part he will appear

honestly, i don't blame him for shooting enemies when they hit the floor...more fun to watch them twitch, and its faster than the knife.
