Get alone and wait on His Moving in you IF you Know Jesus. If ya dont Know Jesus same instructions.. get alone and cry out to Him who ALONE can save you from the coming day of the Lord. You don't have time to investigate yet another "church".Jesus Christ is your Only Hope.. cry out in gut honesty and do so till you break through.. Jesus is at the door.
Jesus Christ came to bring men out of darkness and into His Light.. "church" claims to lead you by a set of books gathered from stolen artifacts by a pagan religious system.Constantine built the god men call "The Word of God" (Bible) when he knew he had to Kill The Moving of The Spirit within his kingdom so he baited men into believing they could know God by books and He had his minions make an old politician "pope" and said He was Gods Voice, now "Protestants" say the bible is Jesus Voice...
Its obvious who the Real god of the "christians" is and its NOT Jesus Christ, its there bible. The "christians" claim Jesus is their Lord but in fact their walk is not 1 of following Jesus by The Spirit of Truth but by what they perceive the bible to "say".The Spirit of Truth is imPrisoned by bible idolaters. These who are programed by "pastors"(Hired hands) to believe their bible is the only Jesus they need. They are told NOT to do what Jesus Commanded in the very bible they venerate as God.sad
Religous spirit - they bind heavy burdens hard to bear & lay them on men’s shoulders they themselves will not move them w/one of their fingers. For u shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for u neither go in urselves nor do u allow those who are entering to go in" Matt 23 When u hear a teaching that puts fear in ur heart that is not the Gospel. The good news of Jesus liberates His perfect Love removes all fear , imparts faith & exalts the finished work of Jesus on the cross
You dont shoot the sheep in order to pull a few weeds. You have to receive the message of the gospel like a little child. coming to Jesus in faith. Simple Faith. and yes the NT does teach to let christ dwell richly in your HEART through faith. that is the problem with you guys chasing after and relying on half baked table thumpers with a pet peeve. they have tunnel vision on their pet peeve and strain at gnats while swallowing cammels.
If someone asks Jesus to "come in to their heart", do you really think God is going to say, "Well, you know, that's not the "correct" way to ask me for salvation, so try again". Not in a million years! "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13) Paul Washer is delusioinal..
i think you should reconsider your thoughts about paul washer.i would humbly suggest that you should stop with your prejudicial judgment of the man.study God's word seriously and you'll see that Paul Washer was preaching the truth of the gospel.the reason why you don't agree with him is because you were taught wrong doctrines by stupid pastors with regards to salvation and you were used to it.i was once like that but now I thanked God for using Paul to really understand the gospel message.

@opoutry you guys that follow cult type belief systems like this are all the same. this man bashes everybody in sight in a COMPLETELY unbiblical way. with very scewed doctrine. yet if someone stands up to him.. we are the ones out of line. You need to do some serious self evaluation my friend.
washer speaks truth and preaches many truths of God's word. however i think he may have missed this one little point. Ephesians 3:14~17. washer agrees with scripture that God can raise worshipers to Him from stones, so why is it so hard to believe that He can't or rather wont save a person if they ask Jesus into there heart? Ask and ye shall receive, what does that tell you?
I think that this is so dumb. If your kid doesn't understand something, doesn't that mean you weren't explaining something to him? What about the parables? Some people find those hard to understand and take them literally. But when we ask someone who knows the Bible well about the parables, they explain it to us. Like in Joel where it says whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Of course God didn't mean you just say "Lord" and then you're saved. It's our job to explain things.
Back in the Bronze Age the heart was literally thought to be the seat of the mind (emotions, thoughts etc) and not the brain. It became a metaphor when we discovered the truth about our biological makeup. Another example is sunrise and sunset, we still use the terms despite our new found knowledge that we are not the center of the solar system and that the earth spins.
JesusFull > those scripture are true of course, re: Christ in us, in our heart..however..Christ called for people to Repent & Believe the gospel,Mk1:15 Not simply 'ask Him into their hearts'.
i believe this is deception by avoiding the fundamental requirement, namely, Repent & Believe.
Jesus speaks of a 'builder' counting the cost of building Before they take on the committment Luk14:28 (ie don't place your hand to the plow & look back)but these 'modern' church don't tell the unsaved this.
Acts 2:38 "The Peter said to them, "Repent and let every one of you be batized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins;and you shall recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost"
Acts 4:12 "Nor there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved"
Acts 10:47-48 "Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have recieved the Holy Ghost just as we have? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord..
Very true, very true. Even water baptism is only permitted to those who believe (Acts 8:36, 37). And I would also question whether any person who truly believes, having real living faith, would refuse to be baptized.
It is Biblical to say that Christ lives in your heart (the esence of who you are) in a sense, but how does God get there? Not by asking Jesus into your heart, but rather by repenting and puting your trust in Jesus Christ. Good Bible by the way :)

Isn't it great that only those who have believed
are qualified for the Baptism in the Holy-Spirit? Good comment

Amen ! So many confuse Christ's finished work on the Cross and Sanctification.
Many violently support this doctrine of demons that tell them if they are saved if they accept Jesus in their heart.
NO,it's a constant trust, walk and a lifelong faith that make up the race.
Yes,"progressing into Sanctification"
