  • @ThePoweroftheGuitar

    - I'm assuming you are being sarcastic? In which case lmao.

  • @ThePoweroftheGuitar

How about having some martial arts training aswell?

You can be ripped and you can watch all the MMA you want, but if you dont know how to fight and your opponent knows then he will simply kick your ass, and next time you will watch UFC with a black eye and a broken nose.

  • @ThePoweroftheGuitar can I have your stereo?

  • who sings that song

  • ??? just looks like brawling to me. There doesn't seem to be any technique here. I don't care what anyone says, It helps to know what your doing in a fight. Randomly flailing or trying to overpower your opponent will get you injured.

  • @wongtsahoa i think the point is people are actually practising what would realistically happen... key word is practice.

  • @ArcticSheep I can see that the emphasis is on practical, but that doesn't do you any good if you don't have a solid foundation of technique to implement in a fight. Sure, it helps to have experience in street fighting, but experience alone doesn't do you any good. Notice how every time the unarmed defender is up against a knife he gets stabbed and then tries to wrestle the attacker to the ground? BAD idea. Good luck wrestling someone down after you have blood spraying out of your belly.

  • @wongtsahoa hmmm well its easy to talk shit about the mistakes the people made in this video, but could u actually do ebtter yourself? and the whole point is to review it and see where you went wrong, so clearly they brought that up later and probably this guy is learning some new knife-defense technique... the senshido guys also said in another video that MMA/self-defense technique training is VITAL. they do MMA drills, etc, but dont show it in vids because its not new to the audience

  • This is practical application! Bruce Lee has a quote (HIM AS A TEACHER of his own martial arts) "You can't teach some one how to swim outside of water."

  • someone on the streets run up to you with a pair of nunchucks lolol

  • I like it! Do what u gotta do! definitely not for everyone but if everyone knew these techniques there would be way less violent crime.

  • Okay, perhaps johneblaze82 didn't use the most diplomatic language while expressing himself. But what specifically are you finding less than desirable about Senshido? No disrespect,I'm just cruious.I just saw a scrap between two untrained guys on the corner of PCH and CHERRY near the gas station, and a knife came into play.Senshido's demo showed several aspects of the ensuing scuffle almost perfectly.Senshido reflects much of my own observed and personal experience regarding self-defense.

  • Im really not a fan of senshido. I was watching this video and i knew what i was going to see. BUT then i read "I been in a ton of fights, and I always win. I don't use flashy tricks to win a fight, unless I want to toy with the fool" from johneblaze82. And what a sorry piece of shit he is...Acting all tuff over the internet as many often do here on youtube.

  • may I ask what is it that you are not a fan of from Senshido? i am not trying to start anything at all I am just curious on your view. Whhat you feel it lacks.

  • I don't feel that it lacks anything. It just not my type och martial art. And i think that almost any martial art (that involves fighting) is a good defense. Its about how you learn to use those skills that you accomplished, and putting them into a real situation. :)

  • Cool dude. couldn't agree with you more! Although I feel it is made for anyone its not necessarily "for" everyone. If it works for you why fix it right? Its true any art or combat system can in theory be effective.

  • LOOKS BULSHIDO WITHOUT ANY SENSE !!!

  • Union,I agree. Anyone can say whatever they wish on the internet, however edifying or idiotic. What exactly is your purpose for bringing this point up? Maybe you feel that Senshido is a waste of time.Fine, well and good...I happen to be of the opppsite opinion.I don't seek to change your opinion about Senshido pro con or indifferent nor do I slam you for having your opinion. I am merely expressing mine.

  • I am a lifelong martial artist in tradition styles AND I've trained MMA before it became popular (Gracie jiujitsu before Brazilian jiujitsu) and I use knives guns etc. Trained in a police academy and trained by family members whom are SWAT members,Army Rangers, and martial artists. I'm also born and raised in the hoods of Southeast San Diego and North and East Side LBC.I don't care if u call this Senshido or KFM,never trained in either. This is real.

  • DethStryque.

Anyone can say whatever on the internet and pretend to be whoever they want to be.

  • yet another stupid video from another stupid poster about another stupid and perhaps "original style of fighiting with knifes"....

that's just some plain idiotism.... people don't even know how to make money otherways than fool some lazy fat kids :(((( i wanna cry.......

  • im terribly sorry to rain on your parade, but this is exactly what the street fight looks like. because those thugs and yobs do not know some martial arts, so they dont fight martial arts. its not a new martial art. It s a combination of many. And mainly - its practical. You can see on 0:08 - this is exactly how would someone attack you.

  • eejit4hire.

You're just jealous that kids used to pick on you and you never had the courage to stand up to them.

This isn't an original form of fighting either; it's survival because things aren't very nice on the streets. However...what would a swede like you know?

Your country is too used to peaceful situations.

  • @unionofonion Man, I really don't remember what I commented on this video. Remind me please, since it was a while ago I presume, and now I notice I got a response. Anyhow, this shit looks so out of order.

  • nicee!!:D

  • Keysi Fighting Method is better then this shit

  • AH ha ha ha!!! That was great, thanks. :)

  • HA HA HA HA!!!! I forgot this was still here! AHAHAHAHAHAAAA thank you. Everytime I depress, I shall read your joke "Keysi Fighting Method is better then this shit" AHAHA HA HA HA!!!!!! priceless!!! HEH HEH HEH!

  • This doesn't even look attractive. Was is so cool about Senshido? I just heard some body say is was good, but it looks like they are just playing around like some middle or high school kids. I would rather do Krav Maga or Kajukenbo not this childish looking BS LoL

  • "This doesn't even look attractive." AHA HA HA HA HA HA HAHA HA HA!!!! Stop!!! :-D

you're kidding right? Ever seen an attractive real street fight kid?

  • and if it's so shit, then what makes you keep coming back here? I never go back to shit videos I watch or take the time to post on them for that matter.

  • That was only my second time coming back so I could reply so your stupid comment. I forgot all about this shit called Senshido. I serch youtube to look at MMA and other fighting styles, and I find this crap. I seen a few of these Senshdo, and I just LMAO at these guys.

  • Must be real if Batman uses it.......oh you mean Batman isn't real?

  • You again, what the hell. I thought we were done with this topic. KFM is real, and it's been around a lot longer then this crap called Senshido. It's been in development in Spain and most of the UK for over 50 years. I never seen Senshido being used in a movie.

  • hahaaha, in a movie? jesus christ...

  • Senshido is crap. Looks like some thing you learn in elementry school lol.

  • johneblaze82..

You're just a jealous punk that you can't fight and bash people for their own conventional methods of fighting.

Not everything has to be big and flashy like your anime; as long as you're alive from a street fight then that's all that matters whether it's *some thing you learn in elementary school* or not.

  • LoL that was an old comment I post. What I have to be jealous of ass hole. I been in a ton of fights, and I always win. I don't use flashy tricks to win a fight, unless I want to toy with the fool. Can you even fight?

  • what is this the name of music plis?

  • having been in a BAD situations before. this is how we all should train use what works not bullshit it is only 4 the garden and thats were it should stay

  • @kickingmonkey It really depends on the person that's using martial arts and how devoted they are to it.

You could use Bruce Lee as an example, he knew martial arts and that wasn't bullshit what he was doing. Like I stated, it really just depends on the person. Most kids that take martial arts now just think it will make them strong like the people in those kung fu movies are which isn't a good way of thinking.

These are take-down styles that do work but arent good against mobs of people.

  • I agree Shitloads better than Krav, if you can read Richards Articles and buy the DVD's hes knows what hes doing

  • What is the song in this clip?

  • yeah..I have to agree this is probably an honest way of training. If you go in the streets it's most likely you will encounter something like that.

  • Shit Loads better than Krav - Great Video

  • is this better than krav maga?

  • yeah, but krav is still better then having nothing to start out with.

  • I have yet to see good Krav. Dimitri is one of, if not the best self-defence instructor in the world.

  • A very nice combat scenario demo. From what I've seen thus far, it's impressive and much more realistic than the 'slow motion concept sparring drill' videos populating YouTube.

  • Honest video, best way to train.

  • very good training

  • yo senshido is awesome if theres a seminar near you, go! the ideas and methods are great

i go to the studio down in mtl its awesome. dimitri is great

  • Dimitri is the maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan

  • Real scenario based SD, the Senshido concept is great! wish we had it in melbourne

  • WOW that was so kool lol did you see how fast the guy at the end punches that man its like BANG BANG moves onto the next woah, skillful or what WOOP! go for it :)

  • the best part is that it is really simple. it wasnt' that he was fast (necessarily) he just got "there" first ;)Hit them when they least expect it. Nothgin beats hte element of surprise!

  • Absolutely, the scenario was I was at a bar and the guys were harrasing me for my jersey (rival sports team or something). I was telling them that they could have the shirt just don't hurt me (you can see the "ringleaders" hands drop just a bit as I start to "take off the shirt"). And that is the time to go ballastic. Think of it almost like strategic suckerpunching. :) BTW if you turn up the volume you can hear me say "Now what bitch?" after I disarm the second guy of his knife LOL.

  • hey man. It was you in the video? if you read my posts further down I am an instructor at Senshido HQ, was curoious who you are? and if you are on the Forums.

  • Hey Wes, I just sent you a PM on the Senshido forums. If you watch the "REAL seminar" I'm the one Rich smacks around during the emotional evocation drill. Tell Lee that Como says hello LOL.

  • hey cool will do!

  • this a rough copy

this stuff works trust me on that

senshido doesnt teach u to beat up 3 people with one arm tied behind your back and a blindfold

it teaches u how to survive by any means necessary

  • Every is missing the point, you fight when you cant run.. Not stick around.

So this is training based on when you cant run..

  • "I would rather run."

Well how do you run when you got 3 apes all over you?

  • I like the aggression training in the video, good stuff.

  • get the fuck real do you think all tha hanging in there with the perp. and entering into there dynamic works. I would rather run.

  • I know someone who has a prosthetic leg who posts on the senshido forum and who has used and credits senshido's principles to survive a knife attack. He couldn't run as sometimes it isn't an option. Tell him this stuff doesn't work.

  • those are live drills my friend not rehearsed stuff. many people have used and survived with our methods. I suggest you check it out yourself read the stuff. you might like it you might not. But before you judge based on a 1 min.video, look at the stuff yourself. read the experiences of people on the forum. and BTW, all the stuff that is taught at senshido is from experience - Things that have worked with maximal results. but like I said, see it for youself. it wont hurt ;)

  • rarely you will find better reality based training, check out Rich and his site if your interested, its real and no bullshit

  • Truer words have never been spoken. He's the most passionate and gifted instructor-teacher I've ever met.

  • The speed with which he pulls of the 2 first strikes in the last scene is fantastic.

  • Thanks, I try. It's even more effective cause of the body language that I am putting forth to my attackers does not telegraph my intentions...in laymen's terms "They never saw it coming". :)

  • Great stuff, great forum too!

  • nice

  • Awesome. Dimitri's stuff is the cutting edge of RBSD

  • Absolutely GREAT stuff! Wish I lived closer to Senshido HQ. :(

  • good stuff...

  • Rich rules!

  • yup it is. Well shredder is a tool that Senshido began. tearing, grabbing, striking, all part of shredding.

  • Hey there. Yup, I gotta give props to the shredder concept. I ended up getting the vid...great stuff, very applicable to the real world.

  • cool man.Glad you like the stuff! which vid did you get? shoudl come check out the online forum at Senshido. Tell us what you think abotu it there.

  • I got the shredder, Wes. I did actually post there a couple times.

  • cool. What's your username? I actually teach at Senshido HQ. I'm Weapon-X on the Forum.

  • Yeh? Cool! I read a bit on that message board...lots of logical, readily applicable stuff you guys came up with over there at senshido, yup yup. Props. I trained in krav maga for a bit, but found that apart from some basic combatives, the training itself was a bit slow, and the sparring we did there an utter waste of time if the training is to be for a real attack. From what I saw of shenshido clips and such, I like what I see.

  • Good stuff. Is this part of senshido's 'shredder'?
