Is it normal that a 16 year old rocker really WANT this guitar? :) I'm actually considering buying this instead of a Les Paul. I have an ES-335(Epiphone) and feel like I need another electric to fill the tiny bit of the spectrum that I cant cover with that alone. Two questions, can it take light, bluesy overdrive without squeling uncontrollably? Is it really loud enough to play unplugged and sing with like a regular flattop? I play at a folk club sometimes. :) Thanks guys!
@Nickpatient Hey hear is something to consider. No one can really predict the future, but hear is something that happened to me, I'd like to share with you. 45 Years ago, when I was about 15 and a young guitar player, My Dad bought me a Gibson hollow body electric guitar. The 'ole boy paid $500.00 for it at the music shop. Between me and you, that wasn't really the guitar I wanted, but my dad was proud to present it to me. Today, the guitar is worth about $4,000.00
@Nickpatient I know this guitar is about $699.00 right now. This is what you call an "in the door" price. This guitar will improve through the years and appreciate in value, I would bet.
Can you put a jazz player on it?

@jackoshaw
Inflation accounts for $3400 of that, but they're still nice guitars at any rate!
