the thing that was so awesome about this game is that you really got sucked into the world and the stuff that was going on inside of it. You really felt like you were on a mission to save the world. Your jaw dropped and you felt horrible as each thing occurred. It only motivated you to go ahead in your journey to kick some butt and save humanity. One of the best games I ever played . . . and I literally played it like 200 times in my life.

and finaly the search for the quest that will bring the peace back to people

I was looking forward to this game back in the days, but I never got it, so I have no memories of it, yet the musik makes me feel all nostalgic and on a quest, now that is how to make game music. Music is emotions and it becomes so much easier to fall in love with a game where the music alone get's you in a good mood.

@1992Medusa Because they have true meaning and interaction involved, w/ great stories such as Final Fantasy 2, 3, 7, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana. There is more background behind the music than just making a piece to be played in front of an audience. All of this to me is superior in every way to any old composer like Bach- it stands for something, has imagery connected to it, & many great stories. I feel sorry for those who will never know the stories and songs contained within certain games.

While it is possible nostalgia plays a part, the fact that people who have never played the games before on the SNES are now hooked after playing it on VC or DS speaks highly for the quality of the game(s).
