Yes, a stock EP3 Si does about 15.5 stock, but with I/H/E it does 14.9. This matches the stock time of the FG Si. It was a close race but the 06 Si does have a higher top end.

Uh actually the new lower model civics are just a very little bit slower than the 05' Si. I have raced many of them both on the street and on the track back when I was stock. So, once again, your boat cannot float so to speak. Let me put it to you this way... A stock 05' Si runs on average of 15.5 in the 1/4 mile. The new Si runs at least a second faster than that. I don't know if you keep up with 1/4 mile racing at the track, but a second is MASSIVE. Simple bolt ons will not keep up

To top all of that off, I gutted the car and it weighs 2500 lbs. I raced a STOCK 06' Si and it murdered me. I weigh 185 and had less than a quarted tank of gas. go to the track, and see 12 and 13 second crx's with only 200-215 hp. An LS/VTEC in a crx with bolt ons will run high 12s and 13 on y tires. thats only 200hp or so and spin 9k. thrust to weight makes a difference

Look it couldn't be an lx. Because a few reasons. An 06 si will beat an 05 si. But with a bad driver in an 06 and a really good driver in an 05 the driver error will make the 06 loose.

And as you can see in the video we loose a dig race at the end. Whether the 05 si is faster than an 06 si or not its surely fast then an 06 lx by ALOT... and we wouldn't get beat by one.
