these moves are amazing... the style reminds me of the mean girl from Girls Just Want to Have Fun - anyone else think so? people just don't dance like this anymore :(
I have all of their dances from star search on VHS tapes, I loved them as a child and I still do, but I have to agree with sammy100100........now that i'm grown, I noticed the feet not being pointed, by either one.........drives me insane. However, Incredible dances and performances all around!!!!
the man made the woman look wieghtless...the woman moves like a feather in the wind....unbelievable....the man doesn't look like a weight lifter but he did it like no one else could!!!magnificent...
They did Cher's 'I FOUND SOMEONE' video the following year! they were both so amazing. I won't ever critique them until the day I can spin like a top and kick my leg straight up over my head!! They deserved their win!
WOW. Never seen lifts or tricks like that and this was amazingly choreographed. However, I just couldn't tear my eyes away from that girls feet. She didn't point them once, not even in her battements (kicks). Both obviously amazing performers, but I think their amazing tricks and lifts got them through more than technique as dancers. Pointing your feet is basic, dance 101, kinda stuff . pointing her feet, using a little turn out, & using her ankles would've made a big difference. awesome though.
@sammyl00l00 You are so right sammy. I noticed that immediately. One huge thing in both their favor is their ability to feel the center in all those turns. Spotting, sure but some of them are too fast for regular spot. Also he is crazy strong. She is storng too but he is so solid. I would have loved to see them point feet, use turnout, keep shoulders down. Would've been perfect then.
that's lisa nunziella and eddie vega. sad to say eddie is no longer with us, he's up in the great disco ball in the sky..lisa however can be found online, she teaches classes, has salsa videos out and attends various hustle/salsa competitions around the country. very nice gal. still an awesome dancer..fierce! you go lisa!!
Well yeah! Nobody ever came close to these two in the dance category. Those two little kids Heinz and Keesha were the kid equivalents, but still, nowhere close.
amazing...that last catch was unbelievable. that must have taken so much practice. those 2 people are amazing together and should be stars [unless they are already]. Does anyone know the year this was????

only negative would be her flexibility on the spilts in the air, kicks etc but otherwise amazing

The girl could work on pointed her toes, or flexing her ankles since she's in heels, and turning out better,
but other than that it was flawless :] very well put together.
