Consider letting him out a bit more, if possible. They are excellent hunters. I cannot imagine leaving mine inside--he really keeps the local mouse population down.
I used to have a cat with the same pattern just that he had a shorter coat(his mom was a norwegian forest cat, dad was a different breed) and he had these emerald green eyes. He went inSANE when he saw his first snow, I saw him out on the lawn running in circles eating the snowflakes or catching them. xD And he loved to play in the snow as much as he loved to rest on your lap. He has been gone for over 6 months so I dont know where he is... I miss the little guy..:(
lol, I have one too, and he HATED the snow. Yes, he's physically adapted for it, but since he's a spoiled house kitty, he was not amused. And he did not want his fluffy tail to touch the ground.
And Norwegian Forest Cats come in many coats, not just tabby.
Hm, well, they do not like to tread when and where they are now sure about what is under, so this is pretty much the real behaviour for any animal under uncertain ground conditions as far as i have witnessed...
for the owner; are you sure this is norwegian forest cat? they are normally tabbed not spotted like this - is it me who is wrong or is it a mix?
The body type of the cat does indicate of one that is very similar to Norwegian Forest cat. The bicolor coat is actually quite common for norwegian forest cat and the coat pattern of the cat in the video is simple a less genetically expressed bicolor pattern.
ur kinda wrong... i have a norwegian forrest cat that impregnated a simmilar but i dont think exactly another norwegian forrest cat, anyway 2 of the kittens look very simmilar to this picture. their black and white is on a cross section of their face, top of mount and up being black and chin being white. very cute brown eyes.
HE LOOKS JUST LIKE MINE :O

LOL! He acts like he's never walked in snow before. And doesn't like it!
Forest cat or not, this kitty was born to nap in front of a roaring fireplace. On a velvet pillow. With a saucer of cream at his side.(;^)
