There is now a Reformed Multiple Sclerosis Society that is urging for the medical community to check out Dr Paolo Zamboni's discovery that MS is caused by poor blood drainage from the brain. The answer to restore this blood drainage from the brain is angioplasty. Watch the before & afters for this surgery called CCSVI on youtube- simply amazing. In just 24 hours a world of difference. Standing on one foot eyes closed in just 24 hours!
I was blind in one eye and paralyzed from the waste down.at the time doctors believe that I would have the need for a wheelchair for the rest of my life.boy, did I prove them wrong, physical therapy and faith allowed me to have a second chance to move my legs =) and my vision came back 100%. of course I had the numbness and tingling sensations
. in my situation, there is not a single symptom that I have not had or have to deal with.. I still bump in to things, but for the most part I am doing well
diagnosed at age 18 in 2002
Avonex has been my one and only drug that has proven its working to me
I believe a cure is right around the corner, we just have to figure out how to get there =)
@k2010Si WOW FOUND SOMEONE ON AVONEX AND ITS WORKING FOR THEM BESIDES YOU BELIEVING IN GOD I'M ON AVONEX TOO YOU GIVE ME HOPE. I'M 48 ITS CRAZY THERE WILL BE A CURE I JUST KNOW IT IN MY LIFE TIME AND GOD IS WITH US .LOVE YA APRIL
i think what you're looking for is you wish people were more sensitive, knowledgeable, educated and less ignorant... this is the case with many things in life. dont let that moron get you down.
next time someone asks you that question just say personal problems, it has nothing to do with other people what is wrong with you, you keep your chin up girl we all have to stick together. take care now.xxx
Hey girl. I actually cried during this video. It's so heartfelt and honest. I too am a "silent" MS sufferer. People do not see what I go through on a daily basis. I know it is very hard to deal with. I can relate very closely with this one.
lizzy just saw your video stay strong i know what your goin throuh i have the same problem it suck i know but stay strong and positive...peace and love
People should be respectful. No one knows whats in store tomorrow.
Women seem to have a greater instance of MS than men. This is probably reason why there are so many great videos created by women, keep it up.
I would never post a video for fear of consequenses at work but I will say I have been able to manage my symptoms thru meds, martial arts and reading to excercise my mind. Thankfully there are researchers looking for ways to improve our lives.
Anyone who says " " totally works really needs to re-evaluate their knowledge about MS. I ran 4 miles the day before my 1st attack and then had a huge list of symptoms... ABC drugs, vitamins, diet, LDN, now tysabri. MS never sleeps. Still not in bad shape, but it is still progressing. Exercise and mental toughness...
LDN will change your life. A small capsule a night and MS stops in its tracks. No injections or nasty side effects. Yes, the normal looks and talk belie the inner facts. 110% understanding of their not understanding.
ignor other people they dont know what ms is, u not using crutches that's good try to keep ur legs strong. ive had ms for 12years now i was diagnosed at 16 years of age. keep strong and ignor others.
Some people are so STUNNINGLY insensitive. I'm so sorry that you had to deal with this man and his unfortunate lack of manners and respect. We should try to look at these experiences with humor (IF we can!) by nothing the ridiculousness of the comments. (HE's happy he doesn't have MS; I'M happy I'm not an insensitive moron!) Take care of your beautiful self, Liz. All best.
It is 3:10am . I coudn't sleep. I just watched your video. 5 stars!!!
People don't get it. I work with someone that has yelled out and pointed down to my right leg cause I always limp. Why don't U go to the doctor and get that fixed.
Watch what U say to anyone that seems to have some kind of medical problem. It always can't be fixed. I don't walk like a drunck cause I am looking to get noticed.I wish they could fix this. So people just be careful on what U say to anyone that could be sick.
At the hospital and seminars people think I'm there for someone else but I tell them I have MS. Its sucks that we suffer silently and our peers are oblivious to the fact that we struggle daily from a battle fought inside us. I get the "but you don't look sick" all the time. Invisible MS is both a blessing and a curse. We can hide it from people but aren't sick enough to convince them when we need help or sympathy. Too sick to live 100% independently but not sick enough to receive support.
