I never knew you, nor will I get the chance to, but thank you. Thank you for inspiring me to develop myself intellectually, and physically and everyday moving towards the unapproachable, fearless man I need to be.
"And that was the appeal of George Jackson. He represented, in the most, in the highest way, the injustice of the system, and the cruelty, and the institutionalized racism of the system."
@lifestraight I know. Interesting how the narrator slid that in there. I appreciate hearing and seeing my Brother GJ on camera for the first time, but I really doubt this documentary depicts a fair and balanced view of what fully went down. A more authentic documentary needs to done about Comrade George Jackson.
@lifestraight It's likely he did. But, even if he did, George never said he was an angel. When he first went to prison, he was young and angry and did engage in criminal activities, but he eventually moved away from that behavior and gained a REVOLUTIONARY mind set; which later caused him to become a threat to his keepers.
@400gangster you must have been one of those bloods that we destroyed in the joint... you'll never be a real banger you will always be fake... my name is i-cee allah

@MyBlackIzBeautiful1 I'm just saying how was sex incorporated in jail? Are they saying George used to pimp inmates to other men? Hope not...

It's good to see and hear him speak for the first time. I've never seen footage of him before.
