i had a dark magic for 1A and then got bored with that and was about to order a freehand zero but realized I could make one so I took one of my little sister's bouncy balls and drilled a hole through it lol it works great and now I love 5a!

I bought the monkey for the ball, it's ok but I wish I had done what you did now, lol!!!!

Those balls are probably a bit heaver too and the Duncan ball seems a bit on the light side when playing with a metal!!! Also the plastic bit broke and cuts string like a knife so I had to remove it and it's even lighter now.
