I hope people can get over the political bickering and realize that we are not trying to save the earth. We're trying to save western civilization/humanity. WAKE UP. Go to the we campaign's web site and sign the petitions. Use a push reel mower, drive a Prius or Ford Escape Hybrid (or even better save up for the electric vehicles Volt or Aptera coming out in 2010), buy green power from your energy provider, use terrapass ect. It's not a huge sacrifice, and it's absolutely the right thing to do.

global warming is all a bunch of bull to me. we've had different climates throughout history, and since we're in this age apparently its all caused by us. theres been times in the early 1900's when the ice caps and glaciers were melting at rapid rates, and times in the medieval days when the temperature was colder than normal. our climate changes and its a fact. also our sun isn't supposed to turn into a red giant for BILLIONS of years not millions. so theres nothing to worry about.

I understand the Sun will eventually run out of fuel and enlarge; absorb the Earth. That isn't because of CO2 emissions; that just is. Isn't it also true the temp. on other planets in our SSystem are also becoming warmer? Maybe both are correct; we are exacerbating the problem of warming by increased CO2--not creating it wholly.
