@Einargizz - Internationally the film was released under the title "California Man". The film takes place in Encino, California and producers probably thought internationally people would know the state better compared to a town so they changed the title.

I saw this in theaters when I was in the 5th grade. It was a double feature with Wayne's World. I remember we went to see Wayne's World and had no idea what this movie was. We thought Wayne's World sucked and loved this. My friend and I thought Link was so hot. Back then we didn't know who he was. This was the first movie I had ever seen with Brendan Fraser. I used to always watch this growing up and loved it. Now watching it, it reminds me of a simpler time when I was a kid watching this movie.
