@manazuo hope you know fart cans give you worse power then just a strait back exhaust. improper exhaust size on a small engine gives improper back pressure taking away from top speed. yet ricers everywhere are still doing it >.<
@TJDeadkid ...you think you know a lot about cars? more back pressure means lower top speed...less back pressure means higher top speed. cmon and you're making fun of ricers?
@KnighTHawK1104 the reason that exhaust valves burn is because the engine is burning lean. Normal engines will tolerate lean burning for a little bit, but not for sustained periods of time. The reason why the engine is burning lean to begin with is that the reduction in backpressure is causing more air to be drawn into the combustion chamber than before. throws off the balance of mix ratio thus giving poor performance. need i say more ricer? UMAD
@TJDeadkid Engines DON'T burn lean...you idiot, do you know what detenation is? look it up in car terms..jeez. how stupid is that statement..cars burn lean. ask ANYONE, they would rather run rich and burn more fuel than run lean and risk detenation. the proper air/fuel ratio is 14.7:1. kthanks..
@KnighTHawK1104 In order to achieve a theoretical optimal combustion, an engine needs 14.7 parts of oxygen by mass to 1 part of gasoline (again, by mass). This is referred to as a stochiometric (chemically correct) mixture, and is commonly referred to as a 14.7:1 mix. If an engine burns with less oxygen present (13:1, 12:1, etc), it is said to run rich. Conversely, if the engine runs with more oxygen present (16:1, 17:1, etc.)it is said to run lean.
@KnighTHawK1104 Today's engines are designed to run at 14.7:1 for normally cruising, with rich mixtures on acceleration or warmup, and lean mixtures while decelerating
@TJDeadkid Don't know what you're talking about backpressure, but there is no "throwing off the balance of mix ratio" unless you dumped your lambda sensor.
@TJDeadkid No, the trend of having large exhausts in japan is largely because turbo cars to not need any back pressure, as there is a turbo in the way anyway, so the larger the pipe the better. Get your facts right.
It be cooler if it spun

Hello! Thank you for your comment. It is helpful for me. Probably normal is the most efficient.^^

@manazuo holy wakamoly that is a sick exhaust

When number of rotations is low ,sound is quiet .
Therefore, your neighborhood is glad (^^)/
But if an accelerator is broken in, you can be satisfied with loud sound
& large power.

@TJDeadkid Thats because they're ricers and don't understand the concept of anything motor vehicle related.

@KnighTHawK1104 and if there isnt proper back pressure. the mixture is lean.
