It should be alot more balanced, even though there are more 'berserk' abilities that do way more damage, The new gear has been decked out with lots of stamina, and abilities have been put in for more protection/healing.

Considering a 10k could one-shot nearly everyone now, and people predicting that the average health will be 25k, that paladin could have anyone with that amount of health down in 3 seconds.
I know how to play most all classes, and play them well. But when my priest gets two-shotted with Pain Suppresion up, what else am I supposed to do? AND my priest has 350 resil. That's OP.
blizz has lowered the damage of the seals and judgements now but if they would have kept this u would still have got one shotted even with 25k HP since the seals and judgements scales with AP and as u get 25k HP at 80 you also get more AP
We'll see once we all hit 80 and get that new "Hateful" and "Deadly" Glad gear(according to Atlas Loot anyway). Paladin's don't get any new Ret abilities other than what they have at 70(so far) so maybe things won't be so bad one we hit 80. It's possible things might be balanced. Either that or we're all one-shotted and Belf Pallys take over the world.
P.S. Does anyone else notice male Belfs look gay? Not stupid gay, but actually homosexual-like?

I've actually not seen many Ally Ret pallys. And Divine Hymn is a Disc spell with a 6 min CD. It puts 10 enemies within 15 yards to sleep for 20 seconds and heals 10 party/raid members for so much health. Really cool spell, but since every class only gets 2-3 new spells, it kinda sucks. But I know Blizz will add more down the road, and probably more in WotLK.

speakin about damage just specc 0/25/46 ull lose out on divine storm but ull do even more burst when it procs. i tried it on a lvl 80 capped server and it went bananas against all DoT user. i stopped disspelling DoT debuffs for more proccing to make it "more reliable" or for more procs. i even one shotted a warrior in a duel and that was without having me wings on and crittin. with those bypassing wings it will really be bananas

A pally did 21K damage in the beta which is why "Art of War" got changed. It used to have a 15% chance to double the damage of your next judgment. But when someone got it, they had seal of command on (double dmg when stun) and stunned someone and crit for 21 K. That's why art of war changed.
Leeroyyyy, the fact still remains, even IF he did use his trinket, he would still have another stun, Repentance. Although this stun gets rid of after damage is dealt, that one crusader strike would determine the outcome. As for the other C/d such as Avenging wrath, SO what. The object is to win- and by any means necessary.

I have played ret Pally. Once you have the gear and the skill they do fine(especially in 3vs3's, but to complete obliterate everyone...where's the fun? Its not really blizz's fault with hybred classes its very dificult to get them right; a small change can mean a huge difference. Most mmorpgs end up just making the class op and then raising everyone to its lvl. I disagree with your statments, but your welcome to your 2 cents worth.

most people are testing this, not at lvl 80, it's more evened out at higher lvls, death knight for example can easily do 4k every hit very fast at higher lvls. basically what this means is that it will be easier for paladins to lvl up but it will eventually scales to the "more on even" point at 80, which is what blizzard is intending in general.
The thread about this from Serennia on the paly forum explained most of this damage. JoJ is bugged and procing twice, warrior turns her back to paly, paly is dropping all CD's at once, and SoC is procing off melee based special attacks which is currently being tested.
Sure this seems OP, but damage like this is anything but typical, dont think 99% of ret paly will be dropping damage anywhere near this (how many are rocking full sunwell gear like this guy anyway?)
