MTB & CDB were fantastic...The Allman Brothers Band is my fave: they transcended Southern Rock).

@MyTymeBand08 Unless I'm mistaken the gentleman who sings this song has the last name Van Zant. If that doesn't mean anything to you then you are not a fan of any Skynyrd lineup. The current band is extremely true to it's roots. Hell, it's composed of family and original members. Most of the guys who hate the new Skynyrd hate em because they were fans of them when the politcs were less noticeable. Even i'll admit that this sounds a whole different than the old stuff but i love it all!!

van zant..is ronnie van zant..the original/best singer...that died in the plane crash back in the 70's.

For those who say this "isn't skynyrd," Ronnie Van Zant (the greatest lyricist and vocalist this world has ever seen and will ever see, stated that "Skynyrd isn't a group...it's a bunch of friends playing music they love." I mean, hell, his YOUNGER BROTHER...BROTHER...Same blood, fronts the band. Gary is still there. Rickey, who was in the early Skynyrd days (used to hang out and play along with) are all with the band still. This is Skynyrd...like it or not.

@maclieberman - Johnny and the band were hanging out with some friends, and when they were heading back to the studio Johnny said "well back to the studio to record some songs" (or something of that nature, and Gary said "yeah we're gonna unwrite a song". That then, was when this song was born.
