why dont you pick up one of the pistols you walked over in place of your primary? they make you lighter so u can move around lighter, and also in case you ran out of ammo, instead of resorting to knife only you would have a back up pistol? great game tho, i love running around with m1911 extended mags playing agency style ;)

I am starting to do a bit of agency myself - I would recommend the higher damage pistols though because when you have dual wield on it does not matter (nuketown sucks for agency)
