I must dissent with this speaker. When she tells these stories, she convinces me that journalism isn't much better than the companies/lives that she ruined. Granted people are making really bad decisions, but I think that they should give the companies the time to fix their problems before you 'tell the public' about it. This puts journalism in a much better spotlight to a point where they will rather benefit the community instead of releasing an article which has the potential to ruin lives.
